quicker way to move round route?

Post by class1987 »

Hi everyone, just wanted to know is there a quicker way to get round a large route that you are building? I have my save box thing in Cannock area that I have created but want to move down to Stafford, is there an option to jump to it or do I have to go down the whole route by shift and forward key?

Open the 2D map by pressing "9", centre on the location you wish to move to, Ctrl + left mouse click and then click on the arrow next to the lat/long coordinates in the top centre fly-out box

9 for map, scroll to where you want on map, Ctrl left click on map, open the top pop down box, press the little triangle on the right. You should now be reloacated but may need to wait a few secs while assets load up.

Chears thanks for that :). One more question you know the save icon with that train pic on it I want to save my route in the Stafford area and its all the way down Cannock at the minute any fast way to get it down there save me going all the way back down to the spots I'm working on? Will I have to use 2d map again to get it down there because I can only seem to click and drag the box is there a cut and paste option to move it?

If i understand your question correctly you can save in the editor with the F2 key (leaves you in the editor) or the play button in the bottom right hand corner (exits in to a scenario).

Apologies if i misunderstood your question.

Create a free roam scenario at the location you want to work on and name it say Cannock, then when you go into the game you can edit that scenario then just exit scenario edit by clicking a track or other icon.
