Re: Padstow to Wadebridge V1.16 (Withered Arm Part 1)
Hi. What a great route this will be. Childhood memories as my Dad had a shop in Bodmin!!
I have loaded each version and have been able to visit it via the editor... just like the real thing. Looking forward to next releases.
However with the 1.19 I can run the free roam scenarios, however I can't save the free roam without getting SBHH.
I've got the "standard milk bottle" instead of the turntable at Wadebridge. Can you please say were we can get it?
Thanks
David

Downloaded v1.19 and it loads OK and the scenarios run ... but it won't let you change them - straight SBHH if you try. Also the route still will not load in TS2012.
However, logmate to the rescue
... renamed the "scenery" folder to get it out of the way and then identified the problem as missing turntable assets and being "track" items, I assume they probably caused the crashes. Downloaded and installed that , so now I can modify the scenarios , plus it loads under my preferred TS2012. Installed and took the O2 for a spin up the Camel and all seems to be stable.
I still have more milk churns than a full blown Farm simulator, and no water in the main channel, but that is just a substitution exercise for later.
So the missing assets were - UKTS_25894_Chaddock_Engineering_LNWR_Engine_Shed_Kit_Part_2 which has the turntables in. Install that and the annoying SBHH crashes should disappear.

Re: Padstow to Wadebridge V1.16 (Withered Arm Part 1)
I think the tide is out for me
The milk churns show where missing assets are - so it is just a case of going through RWtools and substituting the missing assets for something that exists - it's mostly trees and bridges e.g. if you have used Woodhead and EMCL assets and I don't have those routes, I just substitue some default Kuju ones instead ... tornados - the turntable was just to get rid of the crashes - you will still need to use RWTools to find any other missing assets and substitute them. An advantage of that is there are no lineside bushes to catch fire in high summer and so I have a proper well looked after P-Way once more and not the semi forest found on most lines today !
You may need to look at your signalling - I think there should be a starter at Padstow by the signal box, a home at the station approach coming the other way and probably a distant near the girder bridge. Be careful if you mix those horrible kuju semaphones with either the dedicated Southern or GWR ones found here , I am not sure they are compatible ... and anyway the kuju ones look really stupid when they go on after you pass in the opposite direction !
How big was that turntable at Padstow - I have seen mention of 65 feet and 70 feet ? I read somewhere that Bulleid pacifics needed a 70 foot turntable to be turned - but that may have been only a M.Navy - I don't know how long an original Light Pacific was and what size they needed ... or did they not turn the pacifics at Padstow ? - I don't think Wadebridge had a big turntable, so where was the next one ?
Of course you realise that you will not be complete after phase 3 - then you will need to do Bude , Torrington and Ilfracombe followed by Okehampton to Plymouth ... that along with the excellent South Devon Banks route should sort out the far West Country until someone fancies having a crack at the Saltash bridge

Re: Padstow to Wadebridge V1.16 (Withered Arm Part 1)
At last I can make a scenario thanks to leafy and bartman for making the route, the length of a wc and bb is 67 ft 4.75 inches and mn are 69 ft 8 inches the holes have gone bart I don't know what happened there.
Ok bart your turntables are to short need 70ft ones and yes i'm sure they did turn the locos there to face London otherwise whats the point of a turntable ?
Can some tell me the number of that bloody bus outside padstow station the texture is missing.
Bart the platform at padstow east end is to close to the rails locos are rubbing on it.
So bart when you've got to Exeter then you need to do bude and illfracoome after that we need a set of bullied coaches, npv, and lots of locos ,m7,t9,u,n,s15,700 and a few others don't take to long please.
Oh is there a engine shed at wadebridge because I haven't got one ill check my photos ?.

Hi bartsville. The more I drive your route the more I like it. Congratulations on an excellent start.
I added the bridge and turntable files and now no longer have any milk bottles that I can find, however I do have a lot of DLC.
The F2 save now works without SBHH. I notice however that the turntables are not connected to the tracks!!
Keep up the good work
David

By the way the tide is out for me too, unless Wadebridge has silted up in the last few months.
Re: Padstow to Wadebridge V1.16 (Withered Arm Part 1)
If you type in disused-stations.org.uk and wadebridge engine shed theres some pictures there to look at,and there is a engine shed at wadebridge I haven't got one .

Hello iv'e sent Richard scott who made the adams class 02 loco for the i.o.w route an email to see if he would convert it to the mainland version as there aren't many southern locos, has anyone bought the class u loco that's payware at all not heard anymore about that for months.

ideally we need someone to make the Beattie Well Tank which was the staple power on this line for many years
