Tom,

Excellent work so far.

What a great part of the north west to model. It's such a shame that Central station is now closed.

Are you aware of the future electrification programme in place for the Blackpool to Preston section and if so do you plan to include the wires?

One last question, is the Tower your own creation? Looks very well modelled.

Cheers Gav, it is a shame indeed that it is no longer here but the car park on the grounds will be there so in a way the stations presence will be with the route
but only an echo of it.
I am indeed aware of the electrification at the moment i plan to make it before the electrification time but later on i could duplicate and add in wires etc and new gubbins.
Regarding the tower model it was donated by Mike "meshtools" from the blackpool tramway route he provided it for. I am experiencing problems with it though where i go just out of blackpool north
station it dissapears i think it is because it isnt a high poly model but the model is better than no model and from blackpool north it looks rather smart.
One day i may venture into learning to model for the route but at the moment i just dont have that will power to start learning with work its self at the moment being
very busy for me i am learning to be a tram driver in blackpool my test is next friday so also till then the route has not really had much work done to it because each night is spent
revising for the big day  Normal work will be resumed once i am qualified

Also the rowdy stag and hen parties :o

Already i have been at the route this afternoon before celebratory drinks in blackpool with the staff on the trams.
Will get some shots up over the weekend as the area comes even more together. I will be glad to start moving inland as it has been a long job
getting the area to how it is and feels like its never ending

Two shots replicating photos i have seen from wednesdays steam tour to Blackpool from Kilmarnock
44932 Pulls into Blackpool North whilst 47486 waits in a siding to take over later on that afternoon
back to Kilmarnock. 44932 Ran back tender first later with its support coach to Carnforth Steamtown
