Hi everyone I'm just creating the River Trent and the canal that runs along the side of it on my route but at some point both the river and canal shrink size a little and trying to do that but cannot seem to fathem out how to do it can someone tell me how it is done.

Hi Ian
There is a canal loft in the default Kuju section, but to narrow you could either continue with a narrower river section and add a lofted wall as a bank (see the UKTS blocks and lofts pack) which you could offset, or use a water decal and add blocks or lofts manually to form the banks.

Best way I found to do canals is lots of lofts, the 3 pictures below are from my Dunton Colliery route and show what can be done.
Its basically 2 walls offset from each other, I worked out the distance they needed to be offset using the canal lock gates avalible in the download libary. I then used the dirt road from a UKTS freeware pack (lofts & roads one I think) to add the tow path on either side, which doubles up to hide the terrain where it has to decend under the water and then just use the water lofts to fill in the middle. Making the lock gates fit in is abit tricky, I'll try and get a close up of the lock gates when I get home if you like so you can see how its done...
