It's probably about 6, the larger trains such as the ones mentioned above, require the whole train to draw upto the buffers, then there will be another engine usually sat at the end of the other platform. That pulls forward and couples to the end leaving the engine who just brought it in to refuel etc once the train has departed. You see alot of this on gala's

I believe 7 coach trains are the longest for normal operation at Kidderminster.

10 coaches and a large loco fits in the loop at Kidderminster p1, Bewdley, Arley, Hampton loade and Bridgnorth easy, They do that a lot.
Highley is not usally used as a passing point, Kidderminster P2 loop is slightly shorter than P1 but still easy 9 carriages. Bridgnorth P2 is a shorter platform than p1 but when needed they just have the trains overhang.

The SVR very rarely do loco swaps simply because they have no need. They have no problem running round and running 8,9,10 carriage trains all day.

Just keeps getting better and better... I had the payware SVR when I used to use MSTS, and it's the one route I miss having gone to RW... however, this looks ten times better that the MSTS SRV offering... can't wait to see it completed. :D
