Hi Matt,
Very pleased to see the SVR recreated in RW. I'm a cleaner at Bridgnorth (albeit away at uni right now) so i'll be making fairly regular trips back. If you need any specific photos or info then feel free to PM me, i'd be happy to help however I can. I'm no 3d modeller i'm afraid but i'll assist any way I can!

P.S. good luck to anyone that attempts Kiddy carriage shed! :')

Use the latest GWR signals in the library. I don't have any diagrams at this time. Are you OK doing your own research for this? I'll of course hand on any info I do get though!

Cheers

Matt

I now have copys of the signal box diagrams, and will try and find the relevant photos of the signals to match.

Hello Matt,

just dropping in my support comments ;) Nice to see this one getting done, I visited SVR when I was around 12-13years old with my parents and grandparents and it one hell of a experience then, I've unfortunately not been able to visit there again, so I don't know how much has changed in 13years so I'm quite eager to what it all looks like when done, especially after seeing what GCR was like when completed.

Drop me a PM later in the project if you wish me to do some testing of scenarios and the route, I can run TSX mode pretty well most of the time so should be a pretty good testing session again.

I'm pretty sure this will be splendid when done and I think we have some folks here on the forum who work at SVR so pictures and detailing will probably be quite easy to get ahold of.

And the Kidderminster end of Bewdley Tunnel

lovely work Matt, the view towards the south tunnel portal being my favourite. Running towards the tunnel from kiddy tender first on a western engine, you always feel like there's no way the portal is high enough because of that gradient. Will be interesting to see if the sensation can be recreated in RW!

Cheers,
Andy

Excellent stuff. I've got Chris(220389) learning 3D modelling. If you fancy joining forces to create some stuff?

Hi Guys.

I'm having some trouble doing complex junctions(there weren't many of those on the GCR!). Is there a handy, written, tutorial for creating complex point-work?

I'm trying to create this point-work at Kidderminster:

(Screen-grab from a video)

I've realised that, apart from basic points, I'm not actually very good at doing those more complicated cross-overs and junctions! :o

Any tips and advise would be greatfully received!
