MatrixTrains-Caledonian 12W Grampians

Post by gopher »

More stuff in the works. A Caledonian Railway Dia 97 Brake Third. Amazing vehicles that had a very long life, and could even be seen in the West Country and down at Euston.

Oh my. These look superb. Where do you get them from please? My main interest is in the late pre grouping era.

Thanks chaps. Ceebeeuk they are not available yet, I'm still building them :) . Other MatrixTrains carriage sets are available from the Steam Marketplace from the Store in the sim, or from Dovetail Games own store.
Meanwhile further progress on the Grampians. A Dia 95B Brake Composite and the high elliptical roof version of the Dia 97 Brake Third. A shot shows the differences between the earlier flat roof and the elliptical. Only 2 inches higher.

Just finishing the Dia 95, then after about a weeks work to do the other liveries, they will be off to DTG where they will undergo testing before release. Can be a month or more.

And the final Diagram in the set, a Dia 95 Brake Composite in both flat and elliptical roof versions. A different layout to the Dia 95B.
Now to do the later liveries, LMS P1, P3 and BR Crimson and Cream (Blood & Custard).

These look magnificent in either livery. I have absolutely no use for them but put me down for a set. Lovely work.

If you are interested in GWR\Western Region or LMS\Midland Region they were used on Glasgow to Kingswear\Penzance Trains,so you might be able to use them
