Text Font Size On Steam.

Steam is the delivery mechanism for Train Simulator so if you have any issues making it function or questions about how it works before you start then this is the place to get your answers.

Post by Trev123 »

Anyone know how to change the text, font size on Steam through the Steam client. I know how to do it by opening Steam in a browser.
Thanks in advanced. :)

Here is a post on Steam about the font size started in 2013 https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/ ... 98/?ctp=80 someone asking the same question which people are still answering etc in 2018. Looks like Steam is not interested in having an option for changing font size. There is mention of your link Peter which people have tried with not very promising results.

Yes, that seems to be the only way at the moment. Steam seem reluctant to do anything. The post I linked too people have been asking about this since 2013.

The text that I always have bother reading is in the TS Editor, at the bottom. This gives such info as Current Tile, track length, curvature, gradient, etc. I particularly find difficulty distinguishing 5 and 6. There is plenty of space for larger text size. Even a facility that you get on many websites to run a "magnifying glass" over it would help. As it is, I do have a real magnifying glass handy (and even have to change glasses), and still have problems at times.
I thought that there had been legislation to stop companies having very small font sizes for their "small print", but it looks like it doesn't apply to our games :-?
