As I asked earlier though, is it a purely default asset or a default asset given any form of *enhancement*--whether that be AP or user applied?
Opening the doors is NOT essential in getting any item of rolling stock to move, though you'd need to to comply with the scenario's instructions. Don't confuse scenario with asset!!

Stuart, try another scenario using the FGW HST and see if that works OK.

Having worked as a Box Lad, Guard and a Driver for 40+ years I know more about train reporting numbers that you will have forgotten.


Oh dear ! You want to be careful making accusations about my knowledge of the railway. I started on the railway in 1972 and retired in 2018.

Now I am not too good with maths but I THINK that means I had a total of approx 46 years on the railway, and mostly in the operating departments.

We both started at the same time - I was July 1972 and I retired in July 2016 - so I only did 44 years.
