Is there a route available for this section of the UK railway system?
Roland.

Hi Roland, yes there is.

It didnt have any scenarios so I put a FREEROAM in for all the major stations because there were no markers. So at least you could get to all the main station and write a scenario
You can drive it from end to end.

When it came out, by photons66 (David Scott) I really was pleased but it does have one or two problems, the trackwork at Waterloo is a bit amiss with some check rails on certain crossovers and points missing, and direction of track needs an edit or two.
Its a wonderful idea and a massive project, it needs a kind sensitive edit, like that that was done for the WCML South that David Scott also did, and look how fantastic that became.
The route came out before DTG extended Portsmouth into Waterloo, it could be a possible merge, no idea how difficult, EVEN THOUGH the Portsmouth line (with no scenery for a strange reason) IS ALSO included in this scenery
I wish someone would take this route under their wing it really is a super line the bulk of which is done
Here is the map, its coverage is massive

It was actually looked at as a team project John, but it was felt that the amount of work needed was too much for the available bodies--there's an enormous amount of "under the hood" TLC that it needs.

Thanks John, I do remember having this downloaded some years ago, but I have just re-downloaded it along with all the requirements.
I have just installed it and am about to revisit it.
I just read the comments from Gary and that makes me think I may finish up uninstalling it after a short while??
I have noticed there is another route by GOLDEN AGE DEVELOPMENTS, which I may try as well.
Thanks to both of you. Roland.

Don't read it as a "this route is no good at all" kind of thing, it just needs working on to bring it to today's standards and really usable for scenario writers.

I enjoyed the route immensely especially the London suburban area. If you venture beyond Basingstoke you’ll need a chainsaw, there is so much vegetation overhanging the line which kind of spoils things and for me the scenery becomes monotonous. It was a massive effort by the author but as Gary says modifying it would be a huge task, unless a professional body took it over. You’ve tickled my fancy I’m going back and give it another run!!

I am at a loss, I have no tracks showing. I have checked that tracks are showing on all the 9 routes required.
I installed the SNOW/NO SNOW patch and the Rusty Rails.
All the scenery appears to be there.

Your right Gary, but non the less its a super route, I tried a while ago to see if, even with my limited knowledge of finding a simple way of updating.
My first inclination was to strip every thing off the scenery other than track and signals, sort that out first, then add back the scenery, it was actually going quiet well, then I thought about the fact that the Portsmouth route was included, then the Portsmouth route got extended, and my knowledge about merging is nill, which is a shame because adding this route to Portsmouth made so much sense as most of the track errors re at the London Waterloo area.

Thanks John, I had it running with track years ago.
Yes maybe I can find what's missing with TS-Tools tomorrow.

Your screen shows "missing texture" flagging, so RW Tools will not *see* it as a missing asset because the .bin file is present. You need to let RW Tools check for missing textures.

I am currently running TS-Tools.
I have gone into "Route Building Tools" and selected "Check Selected Route".
It is currently checking scenery and I remember it takes ages.
Is there anyway of getting it to go straight into checking for the Tracks and/or Textures?
Roland.

What I have been trying does not seem correct, I got all the way through the Scenery items which said nothing was missing and when I tried the Textures, I kept getting a #52 error message.
I will leave it for now, as I no longer have the patience.
I want to play some scenarios on the dozens of routes I have.
