Hi Roland - both great scenarios (I had the stock for the original version).
One point, I think you must have extracted one asset from BRBluePack02 incorrectly - the scenario is calling for one of the GUV assets (Default GUV Blue) under DTG/BRBluePack02/
BRBluePack02Assets/RailVehicles etc. - it should just be DTG/BRBluePack02/RailVehicles etc.
Easily swapped with RWTools though and in any case doesn't stop the scenarios working if you press F2
Rod
Oh no darn it. I had better go into my BR Blue2 Assets folder and delete all except the "ap" file.
Then I will need to uninstall the Workshop scenario and redo it.
Thanks Rod. for the info.

Just cut everything from
..\DTG\BRBluePack02\BRBluePack02Assets
and paste it into
..\DTG\BRBluePack02
and then delete the now empty BRBluePack02Assets folder.

Hi Gary, Thanks, but have already done the delete everything except the "ap" file from both my BR Blue and BR Blue 2 {electric}.
Then deleted the scenario from the Workshop.
Then edited the scenario quite drastically First I deleted the rolling stock that came with BR Blue 2 {6 items} then replaced them.
I then needed to redo the "Marshall" instructions, because the numbers were different.
Then while I was at it, I had noticed I had 2 versions of the "Welsh Marches" and the one I had used was the earlier one which has been discontinued.
So I have now swapped the Player Engine and a wagon from the early "Welsh Marches" for the later and current version.
A simple move of the Player Loco Instructions from one loco to the new one.
Untick the early Welsh Marches and re-run the new version of the scenario to make sure I had correctly set the new marshalling instructions.
At 1am I decided that was enough and will be uploading the Third option of my scenario today.
Whew

Now it's getting confusing...
..if the scenario was written using mis-pathed assets, deleting those assets would immediately "break" that scenario--the game wouldn't/couldn't switch to the assets in the .ap archive. You shouldn't have had any visible stock to delete and replace in the editor.

I can agree with your thinking, I have often thought over the years, that when I unticked a particular link to say a loco that it would disappear from my view during the edit, but that does not happen.
Which "thinking about it", would not happen until one saved the scenario.
I do still have a copy of my original scenario, which will still be linked "supposedly" to the vehicles outside of the "ap" file.
I will go take a look, to see if those 6 vehicles are still visible?

Unticking a Provider/Product pairing removes the items from the available stock listing, and
can, but not always, prevent any of those items already placed in the scenario to not work as they should.

It'd be worthwhile checking that copy with RW Tools to see what the pathing is.

I have just run the "copy of the original" that I had uploaded and it ran fine and all the original Rolling Stock and Loco, are as was the one I uploaded.
I also ran the final version and that ran fine as well with the newer loco and Rolling Stock.
I then went into TS-Tools and checked out the "Copy of the Original" and it doesn't now say
DTG/BRBluePack02/BRBluePack02Assets/RailVehicles etc.
so it would appearto me that it can resort back to the "ap" file? Unless something else has occurred??

Rhat really is impossible.. a scenario holds the information about where to find the stock that's loaded when the scenario is run, so if it's written using ..Assets\DTG\Class 999\RailVehicles\WindPowered\Class99BR_Blue.bin that's what the end user will
have to have. The pathing is sacrosanct, it doesn't have the ability to find suitable alternatives.
Check using Windows Explorer/File Explorer that you don't have the mis-pathed asset set still installed.

Be wary of F2 Rod; whilst it works in this case pressing F2 ignores the
whole consist the missing vehicle is part of. If that's a service that's there to influence the player train's timings you immediately build in potential for more problems.

I have checked the folder of BR Blue Electric {BRBluepak2} using File Explorer and there is definitely only the "ap" file and a Blueprints.pak.
TS-Tools states the GUV does not have the extra folder as shown by Rod mentioned
DTG/BRBluePack02/BRBluePack02Assets/RailVehicles etc
Just DTG/BRBluePack02/RailVehicles etc.
What can I add, except did the copy version of the original I uploaded some how alter it or did the original get altered when uploaded to the Workshop??

Thanks Gary - I agree, but in this instance it did run.
Re Roland's puzzling above, although the Blue GUV was called for in an incorrectly pathed asset folder (and was therefore shown as missing when the scenario started), there was a blue GUV that was actually there in sim, not far from the start point...
There are two blue GUVs called for in both original scenarios - a GUV was used from both the .ap and the extracted folder.
These are the references from the scenario

Once again, really impossible--once an asset is placed the pathing is set in the scenario's files.

Aha now Rod that makes sense to me, I remember when starting my 3rd version of the scenario at the end of the Edit, there was mention of a missing item {probably the GUV} I did the "F2" and it ran.
Then I decided I would retest it from "Drive", it started just fine, with no reference to anything missing.
That is the final one I uploaded.
Gary, I had never heard that song from William Shatner, it was very interesting and reminded me of when I was a much younger lad.
I'm now heading back to South Lancashire and North Cheshire Phase 5.
