Only just seen this Joe, will try it out tomorrow after work.

The Backworth Part 2 scenario works ok for me Joe no problems to report.Maybe its just me but the only thing I would recommend is stronger wording in the first message to make sure the player understands he has to stay put until he receives the second message to go rescue the coal train. On the first run I wasn't sure what was happening and nearly started to head off to the first destination before I got the 2nd message.See what rikwesson reckons when hes played it.

Hello Joe, just completed the scenario. Strange, but that is the first time I have actually driven the class 14. The scenario worked a treat, however, I do agree with Newbouy that the wording should state you have to wait there until getting further instructions. I probably would have moved if I wasn't forewarned. On the return journey, I did see a train in the distance, I would have been closer to it but it took me 3 attempts to hook up to steam loco. First two attempts, as I nudged up to the other loco it started to roll down the hill. Is there a way of putting some brakes on, either with the loco or the brake van? Other than that, a lovely little scenario.

Thanks lads ,I’ll alter the way it’s worded, don’t think there is any way of putting extra brakes on the static consist, presume the loco must have its brakes on automatic or it would run down the bank.did you notice it still creeps backwards even with the diesel attached.some bank,I could have placed it on the flat section a bit further on,but that would spoil the fun of trying to pull away on the hill.

I had to couple whilst it was still rolling down, otherwise no telling where it would have stopped.Once coupled all was good.

Hello Joe slowly working my way through your scenarios for the route and just come across this in the pic below. Its on the scenario South Shields & Return at Jarrow Station.Dont know if anyone else got the same problem but the wagons are parked with the last wagon overlapping onto the main line which causes a collision with the player train.I havnt moved any consists only thing I did was swap out a Kuju standard van reskin which I didn't have and also a Kuju 5 plank wagon with a coil load which ive never seen before.

In the time iv made 2 steam scenarios to add which will require the updated route if you lot up for testing changes before I package it all.
One uses austerity from Tyne yard to Tyne dock and back to felling, the other is a football extra to Morpeth via Gosforth using K1.

Re: North East Rails V3.1 release & Scenario pack info.
Finally there,
Big thanks Gary for the instructions to add the other signal with different links,i duplicated a copy and made one with link 0 only and another with link 0 and 1.
Iv added them all to the railway and done some basic testing with quickdrive & Freeroam and all seams fine.
scenarios ,iv done the alterations mentioned in the scenarios discussed between us and have packaged my scenario folder in there with all the new ones to test.
The dreaded Backworth scenario ,well i think i may have sorted it.fingers crossed. When i reinstalled the scenario this week i got the big stutter which broke the game alongside the corn field before the pit heap,i was out the cab at this point looking towards that field.so decided to delete the corn which had been placed in an asset block .After that no big stutter and the other odd thing i noticed is that strange glazing on the back of the loco just after it loads has disappeared since i did this,no idea why.
So iv added the scenario again with all alterations as Backworth system 3.
If you lot still have problems with it ill delete it before i package them next week.
there is a link to the route file and the signals folder which will add the signals.
Iv already started to alter the manuals so hopping to package next weekend if all is well.
