Link to the new Backworth system scenario to test
https://www.dropbox.com/s/so3loxnbx7dww ... 1.zip?dl=0

iv done the alterations to the 40 scenario as mentioned ,ill just give it a quick test at weekend before i put it in the pack.

anyone can test the one above again just some feedback will be good ,scenario just uses the Routes reskins etc so should be straight forward to get going ,good luck.

Joe

ps Mark the idea mentioned about the NCB 08 ,maybe something worth looking into ,but the Harton scenario uses them a good bit ,not sure if there has been any problems with that one.

I failed on the first attempt of your new Backworth scenario Joe.I cant remember if its the J94 that simulates false boiler water levels when your on gradients but I was going up the long incline to Weetslade colliery and all was going well.As soon as I got over the crest of the hill the water level in the boiler suddenly dropped :o and it was game over.Dont know if anyone else noticed this but I will have to watch out next time.

Unfortunately, the UKTS Freeware Packs site seems to have some script problems?

https://www.uktrainsim.com/FreewarePacks/?p=ThePacks

Clicking on a selection from the box lower on the page also leads to a garbled screen

https://www.uktrainsim.com/FreewarePack ... oute+Packs

But eventually I ended up here, which seems to be the right page:

https://www.uktrainsim.com/FreewarePack ... hEastRails

The same page seems to live here too:

http://www.trainsimdev.com/forum/downlo ... l&df_id=18

But then a barrier raises itself, even though I click in the "I am no robot" box, the server won't serve me the .torrent file!

Not wanting to jump through all kind of hoops for a simple route download, an alternative source was found, instead of waiting in the UKTS queue for a 5 KB/s download.

Just to let you know Joe I have started the scenario, it took me eight attempts to get up and over the main line (I hate inclines when driving steam locos), but went down the slope ok. Some great AI floating about. Will let you know tomorrow hopefully how it pans out.

Im sure the water level in the water tank was ok Joe , im talking about the water in the boiler.I always manually fire locos so you have to keep a good check on the boiler water level.I know some locos have the simulated effect of gradient on the boiler water level but I cant remember if the J94 has this.Regarding the Teddybear in part 2 ive noticed quite a few pictures of them been used around the Backworth area in BR green.Ive actually done a new sound pack for the class 14 but not got round to releasing it yet ,I will have to get it finished.

Thanks Newbouy

Hello there,I did have a go at downloading the base route before I uploaded v3, all was well then so not sure what’s going on there,as for the other site ,this belongs to Jim, Nobkins, think there was two options on there,Torrent or basic download ,saying that iv not been on there for some time.

If your using it standard mode Richard I’d say as soon as you get out the yard ,wind the reverser back to about 45%then play the regulator to get a bit acceleration,as you approach the hill leave the reverser where it is and about 80% regulator should about see you over the bridge .

I successfully completed the new Backworth scenario and I didn't get any problems to report.Another good scenario with some nice challenging sections ,hill climbs ect.I didn't make the same mistake of running the boiler dry on the incline to Weetslade this time.Looking forward to part 2 Joe thanks a lot.

Hi Joe, I have just completed the scenario. Two things, the signal at Weetslade just after the bridge didn't drop to let me into the wash sidings, so I went past it anyway, and the instruction that pops up after dropping the wagons off at the wash sidings has the word wove instead of move. The other thing I notice which may be scenario or sim related is, when I pressed F1 arrows didn't show to guide me in the right direction. Other than that a very nice scenario.
