I'm sure we'd like anything Joe, the 21T hoppers in NCB livery will go nicely with the Electric loco to Westoe and Harton collieries, for one thing.
I was going to ask you Joe where the loading docks were for the iron ore down to Consett works, it just states Tyne Dock, but, it's a big place, and I wondered if you had done anything special for the train loadings at all and exactly where it was located on your map?
I'm creating the Class 24 runs for about the 1972/3 time period before they all were transferred away from Gateshead in 1974 and the Iron Ore tipplers were exchanged for the PTA 100t hoppers.

Hi Whittaker and all
Have just installed the updated route, and ran it through RW Tools. It comes up with the following missing assets.
D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\Kuju\RailSimulator\RailNetwork\TrackRules\bath_temp_trackrules_yard_rusty.bin
D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\Kuju\RailSimulator\RailNetwork\TrackRules\trackrules\loft rules percent.bin
D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\Kuju\RailSimulator\scenery\Procedural\platform_uk02_50m_left_np.bin
D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\UKTS_FP\Blocks_and_Lofts\JN\Scenery\Procedural2\Dock_Wall-d.bin
D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\UKTS_FP\Housing\JT\Scenery\Buildings2\jt_fp_flats_01.bin
D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\Wotawally\Scenery\Miscellaneous\WW_sleepercrossinglong.bin
D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\Wotawally\Scenery\Railway\WW_LocoHut_Hulme.bin
Anyone any ideas where I might find them please ?
Also a question for the author.....I know you are in the process of creating a scenario pack specificley for this version, but in the meantime, if I copied any of the scenarios that were meant for the PREVIOUS version (v 1.04), would they work ok ?
Thanks for what looks like an update to an already fab route !
Derek

The clue is in the name
UKTS_FP\Housing - UKTS Freeware Pack -Housing
UKTS_FP\Blocks_and_Lofts - UKTS Freeware Pack -Blocks and Lofts
I presume you have the European Loco and Asset Pack?

Think I’ll do another small update to the route when I put the scenarios pack out to update a problem or two, forgot to add the wottawallly assets above and I’ll delete the telegraph post at consett sta.As for the other question about loading in Tyne dock, there is no loader aavalible for ore to my knowledge so I just started the trains in lower yard.there is a good article in Sulzer pages on the workings of these trains. There is 2 iron ore workings in the scenarios pack one by me and a steam version by another author.but feel free to do another, like to see people’s ideas in scenarios .

Hi Joe Whittaker.
I know you are in the process of creating a scenario pack specificly for this version, but in the meantime, if I copied any of the scenarios that were meant for the PREVIOUS version (v 1.04), would they work ok ? And what about the many scenarios on UKTS that were also meant for v1.04...would they work in V3.1 too ?
Thanks
Derek

OK, Joe, thanks for that, no probs, we can all use our imaginations when playing. I am struggling a bit to get any type of scenario sorted as my project is for pre-TOPS operations, 1972/3, and there are very few locos available in that condition that are suitable for what I want to do. The vast majority of locos are post TOPS and the only ones that are OK are things like the Deltic, which is of no use hauling iron ore, steel traffic and coal hoppers around, ho hum......

The Weardale and Teesdale route has both the Class 25 and 37 in BR Green with SYP and D numbers
This might help

For the 1973 pre-TOPS period, no diesel locos had a D prefix in their running numbers, but, I appreciate the help guys.

You have a lot to learn.....
OK, the 24 needs more work but the others just have blank textures rather than the D defined in their number---#1541 instead of D1541 for example.

Just as well you are not running in 1972 or 1974

Thanks very much for the work on your route, Joe. I've just done the Tyne Loop scenario and it's amazingly vibrant.
I've got some signalling observations, if I may. You may know about some of these already:
- Signal GF12 - should that have a feather on it? I get flashing ambers leading up to it but no feather to tell me which way I'm going.
- All of the signals appear to be 4-aspect. Would the route have qualified or would it have had 3-aspect instead? Also, all of them have floating number plates (I think you've already acknowledged that).
- Just before Monkseaton P1 (and also at Tynemouth) there is a repeater. I shows in the HUD as if it were a full signal. When I was driving the scenario, it showed that the following signal was at danger when it was actually clear.
- Whitely Bay - the HUD shows two signals on the starter (WB14). Is one of them the distant?
- The AWS magnet with the 20mph warning before Tynemouth is right next to the sign. Would it have been a bit before to warn the driver?
Thanks again for the hard work. I'm looking forward to the scenarios. I've had v2 for a long time but have never driven it, for some reason. I've been missing out.

Thanks for the observation, the signal will always be a bit of a work in progress but I’ll have a look at what you have mentioned, one thing I can clarify is the route did have 4aspect during this period before the metro rebuild.and the new semaphore signals added show the amber aswell, which to be honest didn’t really bother me.

Hi All
As joe Whittaker seems to be ignoring my repeated requests for advice....
Can anyone tell me if the many scenarios available for the previous v1.04 version, will still work by copying them over to this new v3.1 version ?
Thanks
Derek
