WCML V3 release. But stable?

So over on ATS the latest version/extension for the WCML has been released taking the route north to Preston & South to B'ham NS via Wolverhapton.
Got the route and immediately had the desire to create a 3 part scenario from Blackpool to London on the VP Northern Lines, ATS WCML V3 and the WCML South (non DTG version) encompassing a full run of a Avanti 390.
Part 1 I have already completed from Blackpool to Preston, not much happens on that, but part 2 over the new ATS route is my problem, I cant place many AI services down. Through repeated attempts to build the scenario all end in memory errors after saving, closing down & re launching the sim to test usually after placing about 30 services down, in other attempts I got as far as 45 down. My specs are listed below, but not wishing to sound to smug I know my system can handle this. I have done a rush hour WTT scenario on WCML South (non DTG) with 86 AI's and it works fine.
I have tried a few different ways of making this scenario, sometimes using older/less memory intensive stock such as the older 390 models & just placing the AI services down but not giving any instructions to any yet incase it was the dispatcher having trouble.
Has anyone else tried to make there own scenarios for the route, and if so how many AI's/what stock/how!?
