TS2021 Number of scenarios limit dramatically increased

I wasn't thinking of you and I am sure neither was Ash. The simple fact is that I would experience a crash with TS when it was creating/updating/checking the scenario database when I had beyond a certain amount of scenarios. I could take out any given number of scenarios and replace them with the same amount of different scenarios and repeat the issue consistently. I did a few experiments and removed some duds, but to no avail. In the end I had to split the content folders which worked fine. Whether it is something peculiar to a specific set up I don't know and tbh as long as I get TS to work I'm not too bothered. But it must be a fairly common issue because although you aren't one of them there are a few of us who had the problem, not only on this forum. I have around 14000 scenarios plus whatever scenarios are in AP form. Until now I had four content folders, I could have managed with 3 but 4 was more convenient.
