Hi all,
I have my routes stored in different folders. For instance all UK ones in a folder Content_UK and European in Contents_EU and so for United states/Canada etc in Contents_USA. So prior to starting Train Sim,depending which route(s) I'm intending on using. Delete the suffix _(UK/EU or USA) from the relevant content folders name.
Not been using TS for a long time, due to OOM and other seemingly endless problems. Kept up with mods and updates etc to TS 2021for e.g. But a week or so ago, having updated to 2021 decided I'd try a couple of new scenarios, suffice to say, these ran without problems.Just spent a week running scenarios on the Weardale and Tees route and a couple of German routes.
Now to the problem, decided to try out some USA Cajon route scenarios. But found on booting up TS there was initially, a splash screen with links to either select the Academy or the normal set -up. I selected the normal and then noticed the background audio of what sounded like a recording of a switch yard. On subsequent start-ups, the opening is the normal menu but still this background audio, which only ceases when a scenario starts.
Any ideas as to how this audio can be muted? I can't see anything relevant in the settings menus.

Re: Background Audio
It may be the ..\Assets\Kuju\RailSimulatorCore\Audio\UI_FrontEndLoop.dav file that's somehow been *revised*, so if you have a backup you could copy that over and see if it's back to normal.
Re: Background Audio
It can be turned off in settings/audio (menu music)

Thanks lads,
could have sworn that I'd deselected menu music. Maybe in another life, anyhow that sorted it.
