Thanks Mike, only Direct x module dumped was xinput - also 3d + a few others! Can you delete the md5 files from the crashing scenarios folder please and try again? Also run that directX installer to eliminate that.

Hello Mark,
Many thanks for your advice, that seems to have done the trick touch wood, also thanks Gary and Peter for your help as well.
It's really appreciated
At least I have something to do until the 1st of August, as the doctor told me that I still have to shield, due to lowered immunity levels
Mike

Re: Fed up of Game crashing
As a footnote to how fickle the game is
I went in to TS2020 in 64bit. created a new scenario on the Test Track, attempted to place a dmu and the game crashed - OOM

Re: Fed up of Game crashing
I though I would try another run Stainmore route with 2 x 101 vice a Kettle on an all stops local.
Just arriving in Kirkby Thore and FREEZE - no picture but the sound of the brakes continued to play.
In to Task Manager and Restart the Computer as the only way out.
No point in me purchasing anything in the Sale if the game does not run
Peter

Peter, temporarily remove everything (routes and assets) except for those used in that last scenario and try it.

I did thanks but I don't think it's an Audio related problem - my Speakers and Headphones are cable connectedjalmar wrote:Did you see the topic about freezing ?

I jumped in and did a Clean Install of W10Pro and I'm going to give the game a few tries before looking at anything elsegptech wrote:Peter, temporarily remove everything (routes and assets) except for those used in that last scenario and try it.

Re: Fed up of Game crashing
I did the same run as yesterday and no problems until I came to exit the game.
I just tried the first 30 mins of the 110 min run so I clicked Pause then Exit
And the Screen froze with sound of some train noise in the background - the only way out was Task Manager and Restart the Computer.
Unlike the other thread I'm only using the Sound from the Motherboard to a set of Speakers
Nothing showing a Problem in Device Manager Peter
