OK, I understand the problem. Will sort it out shortly. I will post a link to a fresh .rwp in a few minutes, and also get it onto Xavier's site asap

Can anybody with problems simply drag and drop / copy and paste the assets from the .rwp using WinRAR, 7Zip etc?

You beat me to it, Gary - was going to suggest that as well. Still need to post a new file though.

Here is a new link to a file that should not contain a zero byte file https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Hp26kn ... sp=sharing

Glad to hear it

It would appear that I omitted the texture for the Edge Hill bridge that removed the fence at the top (in the default item). This was present in V3, so only an issue for those new to the route. Hence only those who are missing that texture need to download.

Pick it up at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qRIFRt ... sp=sharing

My apologies for this, but there are over 3800 different assets in the route, so can be difficult keeping one's eye on the ball, particularly as I am involved in building about 6 different routes!

Another player reported missing platforms at Park station (extreme east of the route) and at Allerton, but as these are default items in RSC\LivMan, it cannot be down to V4.

Hello,

I reported the platform issue, Currently found missing platforms at Park, Allerton, Earlestown. Missing textures at Edge Hill. I am currently validating RW files, I will then install a freshly downloaded copy of the route, assets, assets fix, AP track patch.
I will report my findings but as the route is broken in areas with missing platforms resulting in not allowing boarding then if it doesn't work after this I'll have to give it up as a bad job and stick to the old V2 version and wait for a possible V5, that'd be a shame as it looks amazing.

I have no missing rolling stock, all the requirements exist in my install, It just does not want to install correctly for some reason or another.

Have you still got V2. If so, you could install V4.1 over that. Also, the Assets in V4.1 will add to those in V2. The stations that you mention all use the default platforms from RSC\LiverpoolManchester, which you must have. They were present in V2, so will also be there in V4.1. A quick point - have you got your scenery density set too low? That can cause some assets (lofts in particular) to be slow in rendering. Travelling at speed around the Wigan area can cause the OHLE wires to "disappear" - go a bit slower and they are there

regards

Nick

PS just discovered what you will be missing - I made some of the platforms in question lose their end ramps. That was for V3. Will post a fix in a few minutes

The fix for the platforms can be picked up here https://drive.google.com/file/d/1EnzeVv ... sp=sharing

I have 2 sets of semaphore signals between Wigan & Manchester Vic which I think relate to Yelland semaphore signals BRS Tu sig h 1T where the signal arm altho it works is way above the signal post. Has anyone else had this?

This is a known quirk in the sim. Reinstalling the Yelland signals usually cures it

Hi Nick/Andy,

The latest update to the route is superb ..thank you very much for your hard work. I have found a missing texture which I can't resolve. About two miles north of Wigan above an embankment there is a building with an ornate fasade which has a missing texture.. co-ordinates are Lat 53.57844 - Long -2.64011. TSTools shows a number of missing textures which I dont think refer to this building ..most seem to be... Nicks_signs_platform.TgPcDx Called by platform.GeoPcDx ..There does not seem to be anything that references a missing building texture that I can see.

Any help would be appreciated.

Kind Regards

Steve.

Hi Steve

The building is the remnants of the old Victoria Pit. I reskinned one of the LivMan buildings to remove some of the windows. Unfortunately, a couple of white lines have appeared. So no missing texture (as you can see the building), just a slight mark on on the frontage.
The blueprint Geo file was produced for me by Brian Yeomans so I could replace the one I was using previously (Keith Ross's one for the WCML2), and so avoid having to copy/paste the original using the .bat file. The signs show correctly, but I will remove the reference to me in the Geo! No point in issuing a further fix for these - but they will be implemented in time for Phase 5.

Thanks for pointing these out. I hope that they do not spoil your enjoyment of the route

Hi Nick,

Thanks for the explanation but all I see with that building is Yellow and black stripes so I guess something has not copied properly. Could you give me the name of the asset and I will take a look or post the texture file if possible.

Thanks

Steve.

Hi Steve

Assets\RSC\LiverpoolManchester\Scenery\Buildings3\LM_Victoria_Pit.bin and LM_Comm_Build01.GeoPcDx. The texture file is missing!!!

Oops

That one has evaded the trawl to grab all the reskins. I will add to a future fix, but not yet. If you wish to see something, then copy the Texture file Assets\RSC\LiverpoolManchester\Scenery\Buildings\Textures\WH_comm01.TgPcDx and drop it into Assets\RSC\LiverpoolManchester\Scenery\Buildings3\Textures\

Hi Nick,

I had already found it and was about to edit my post to say that I've fixed it. There were a couple of of other textures that showed up as missing in TSTools. These are winter textures and i've not run anything in winter yet to see if they are visible.

Assets\Developer\ELR_PDH\Scenery\Structures\textures\ELR_minaret_WI.TgPcDx Called by ELR_minaret.GeoPcDx
Assets\keithmross\WCML2\Scenery\Vehicles\textures\WCML2_lorry_night.TgPcDx Called by WCML2_Lorry_1.GeoPcDx

I can't find these two anywhere.

As for wh_comm01.TgPcDx I have the LiverpoolManchester.AP file but I guess the reskin does not try to get the texture file from there. I unpacked the texture file and I wonder if it's worth unpacking the whole thing and then re-running the batch file.

Steve.

P.S Sorry I've found three more.
