Hi Locomotiveman

Thanks for the info. I hope you will publish your scenarios when complete. I would love to have a go at them ! Is anyone doing any scenarios like for example a "pick up goods" along the route, so giving a chance to shunt in and out of the many wayside halts and their sidings ?

Thanks again mate

Derek

Hi Derek,
Glad you're interested! I'll try to cover as much of the route as possible, as the included scenarios all concentrate on the Stainmore section. There is also a pick up-ish scenario included, so you will get your fair share of shunting...

The wagons that weren't working were referencing a Child object that had a missing .GeoPcDx
It was an NE logo, but the manual doesn't show it in the pictures so Im not sure what happened.

You can download the fixes from here:

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... 5a-0MHTqc6

If you only want the wagon fix, just download the Assets\Kuju directory

Dave

I also noticed the tarp wagon (all liveries had no number on the side so that should be working now aswell)
Cheers Dave! I'll have a look at it tomorrow.

I donwloaded this too, thanks for the fixes. Now I need to practice firing!

Look in Fixes\Assets\SSS\Stainmore\PreLoad\Fragments\Locos\Black_5
copy the 3 files in there to
Railworks\Assets\SSS\Stainmore\PreLoad\Fragments\Locos\Black_5
(It should overwrite 3 files)

That should fix it
(The files were referencing a non existent blueprint)

Dave

The other files in there can also be downloaded if you like, they will fix some other issues
there is a Fixes.txt detailing what I've done

Hi Guys

I am having a go at driving a scenario involving the "4F" steam loco. But I cant get it to move ! The manual makes some reference "to switch to and from advance mode press the "RETURN" key. Well I aint GOT a "Return" key on my keyboard !

I just want to drive any loco in normal "HUD" mode (ie the baby way ..lol). I dont want to drive or learn to drive any steam loco in any kind of "advanced mode".

Can anyone get my 4F moving, in "non advanced" mode please ?

Thanks

Derek

Do you have an "Enter" key on your keyboard? Try that.

Try the "Enter" key in the numeric section on the right of the keyboard.

The enter key on the numpad on my keyboard doesnt work either. In fact there are a few controls that move with the mouse on the footplate, but not many. Also there doesnt seem to be a handbrake on the footplate, but maybe 4Fs didnt have one ?

Can ANYONE tell me how to get the 4f in SSS Stainmore route actually to move in the "non advanced" mode please ?

Thanks

Derek

Does the default 4F work OK?

Does the default 4F work OK?

I have a feeling I know where this is heading !

I have never managed to use the "default 4F" as you call it, to complete ANY scenario, as it uses up water at an alarming rate and after only a few miles I get a "game over loco ran out of water" message on the screen. I assume you are talking about the 4F that is used in routes like the "Netherfield Nottingham Network" ?
I just tried it again now, in a quick drive and it still runs out of water after only a few miles.

So there is no point in me swapping the SSS one for this one.

Derek

And your feeling was wrong.
According to the SSS web page, the 4Fs bundled with the route are reskins, not the full package, so it'd be worthwhile doing a quick test with the default model used by those reskins. No need to swap anything, just create a new free roam scenario or run an existing scenario using it if you have one.

So how many 4Fs actually exist Gary ? Exactly which 4F do you call the "default" one ? And where can it be found in my routes ?
