This is my screenshot of the Station at Altenburg in the editor for reference, I also have a floating signal at the other end of the station, everything else appears as normal.
Cheerz. Steve.

Steve, the top picture shows the station multi-story block, but the platforms and ancillary buildings are missing, just like I experience.
Put the detail slider to 10 and see what pops in, then try and select it.

Hmm, well, this is where I get stumped. At the other end of the Station there are a couple of platform 'segments', as seen in my 2nd screenshot, but, the rest of the platforms are all missing, so, one can only deduce that SAD has used more than one asset, and as all the platforms are missing at the other end, there isn't an asset as such for me to put my cursor on and click on it to alter the value of the draw distance, if you understand my meaning.
Cheerz. Steve.

FWIW this is what I see when at Altenburg:

Which you only see when scenery density is set to max on game options, or 10 when using the editor slider.
Steve what happens if you go into the editor and reduce the scenery density?

Well, this is where I get confused. In the editor the value is about 8 which is why half the assets are missing, push it up to 10 and everything appears, HOWEVER, when you go into driver nearly everything disappears again, it's very frustrating.......
I've put 3 screenies up to show you.
Cheerz. Steve.

Looks like I will have to wait until next year before 3DZug responds to my email regarding my purchase of the route.

Just run the .exe, pointing it to install in a location outside of the game and compare what it contains with what you already have Peter. If it does turn out to be the right version, just copy (or cut) and paste those remote folders into the game.

I propose you drop a question in the rail-sim.de forum, Peter. What is the installer name you're currently getting from 3dzug? Or as Gary says - try to install it to a dummy folder and see if you get the Assets/SAD2016 folder, this is exclusive to the new Reloaded v2.

From the German forum dec 20th.
Back then I bought the route via 3DZug ... yesterday I downloaded and reinstalled the route again, everything without problems, works great, great job.
From the 19th
very old orders could fall victim to a date. Email to support please. I will take care of it tomorrow. I cannot answer support emails in 2 hours.
My file is named as AS_KOEBLITZER-BERGLAND-3_RELOAD although mine came from Aerosoft I would think they are all the same. If you are not sure try a dummy installation, then copy and paste if you have the latest version.

On my 3DZug account it shows

Download Version
Shipping: Download

It looks like gptech has found a solution to the problem of the missing platforms and buildings at Bad Altenburg. But as it's his solution I'll let him explain the method and get the credit for finding it!

No, no credit to me at all---I didn't identify exactly which file it was, nor have the idea that it may have been set to be un-selectable. The first part was done by a friend, the second was written about in here a long time ago, if memory serves regarding a Thomson/TotalizeMedia asset. All I did was a very, very simple edit of a .bin file and foist that file on IB to test and run the risk of it breaking things even more.
The file that relates to Altenburg station is
..\Assets\SAD2016\Scenery\station2\station2_IKB3.bin
Copy it into the same folder and rename that copy to station2_IKB3.bin.ORIGINAL (or anything else that makes sense to you--using an added file extension means you'll never have to worry about forgetting what it was originally called, and as the game doesn't recognise .ORIGINAL files it won't attempt to read it) You now have a copy of the file "as supplied" if you need to go back to that state.
Next open the station2_IKB3.bin file with RW Tools, or whatever program you use, and look for:
Code: Select all
<Pickable d:type="cDeltaString">eFalse</Pickable>
(about 60 lines down, just under the line that references the Geometry file)
Change this to read eTrue
Code: Select all
<Pickable d:type="cDeltaString">eTrue</Pickable>
Save the file and you should then have a building you can select in the editor and alter the LOD of.

I have to say that I'm not one for "FICTIONAL" routes, however, this is a smashing top-notch route despite it not being a real-world representation! Loving the track sounds the detail and the way he has brought his long term project to life. Recommended.... Highly.
