IN DEVELOPMENT - TWO MIDLAND MAIN LINE ROUTE EXTENSIONS

Two new extensions for Just Trains' Midland Main Line Sheffield-Derby route are currently in development.

The first to be released in 2020 will be the Derwent Valley Line, which runs for seven miles between Ambergate Junction and Matlock and includes five stations. Due later in the year is the 40-mile Derby-Nottingham-Leicester route, which will feature ten stations, including the major interchanges at Nottingham and Leicester. Other notable features will include Toton TMD, one of the largest rail depots in the UK, the array of junctions at Trent, the locomotive works at Loughborough and Leicester depot.

Both these new routes are currently in the early stages of development, but we'll bring you more screenshots as work progresses!

The Nottingham/Leicester extension looks to be a winner. Very pleased about this news.

Best news that, looks a good route but Sheffield to Derby is just too short, keep thinking of getting it and then change my mind because of the short length, be worth getting when it goes to Leicester, always thought DTG would have extended the Bedford route, but that's DTG no thought to anything it does, shame this route also seems to have caught that virus going around, called shrinkflation.
