Unfortunately not ... ok for 37s towards the end of their careers, but for the vast majority of their working life they wore plain blue

If you look at the link USRailfan provided it's a Coal Sector Class 37 in the picture.

But you don't want a Coal Sector Class 37?

The old retired Class 37 DLC had multiple liveries - OTOH it had BR Green, BR Blue, IC Mainline, Railfreight triple grey, "Blue" (original DRS), "Red" (WCRC), and "Red Stripe" (EWS).
I'm not fat - I'm easy to see

I think we may all be at cross purposes here...?

The link from USrailfan was for the non-available DTG pack, which contained multiple liveries, and even better had multiple WR BR blue reskins. Unfortunately this pack was withdrawn before I discovered TS, so I don’t have (easy) access to those.

On the other hand, the recent AP 37 pack has some of the same liveries, eg Coal Sector, but these are no stand in for the missing original BR blue and green liveries. The AP locos are also all post-refurb, and in some cases “celebrity repaints” (or so I believe?)

So all you really need is somebody with the AP pack to do a BR Blue reskin? ...or better still a few reskins with varying degrees of weathering which is what I believe you're thinking about with "and even better had multiple WR BR blue reskins"

gptech - quite right...

I’ve had that reskin pack for years, but haven’t managed / haven’t got around to making the skins work with the S&C 37 :(

IIRC, there was a thread on here explaining how to edit the relevant files. Perhaps once the PC has been put back together

I thought it ended at 46251. But it's definitely what we need for Steaming Over Beattock/Shap. (We're pretty much covered for the eventual release of Steaming Through the Dales now that the Dub Dee/Canklow Scot has been released.)

Thanks - but I'm none the wiser
I tried copying files in to the S&C version but the effect was colourful :o

That looks like all you're seeing is the bump map texture; the "missing texture" flagging suggests you haven't named files correctly.
