Where does one now find where to unintall/reinstall content?

What on Earth has happened now with the Layout of Games and content since this last Steam update.
I was about to tick a couple of US routes, so I could transfer them over to another instance of TS2019.
Just another pain in the Butt, but, but

I have contacted DTG Support and informed them.

I followed the link you gave and the process looks much the same to me:
- Right-click on Train Simulator (under Games)
- Select Properties
- Select DLC in the popup window
. . . and Bob's your Uncle.
The only think that looks different to me is the "What's New" - do you see something different?

Hi John, Colin has informed me how it's now done.
On the right hand side of the TS library page: scroll down past "Friends Who Play", "Achievements" and "Trading Cards". You then come to "DLC" - in that panel you will see "Manage My (frightenly large number of) DLC" Click on that.
The New Look:

- Type in what you are searching for.
Lots of comments for and against in the Steam TS3030 Discussions.

OK, fair enough. I don't see that at all. Maybe it will arrive eventually but certainly not yet. Perhaps that's a good thing!

The way to find and uninstall/reinstall content has not changed
Start your Desktop Steam Client
Go in to Library then Right Click on Train Simulator and Select Properties
Another box opens and the last TAB is DLC and that lists all your add-ons

Yes, Peter, that's what I see too but judging by the huge number of postings at
https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/7/ , some of which are downright impolite, it looks as if the vast majority have received some sort of upgrade that has changed the look of it. Perhaps we are the only two that haven't, ha ha.

"Steam" (definition, proposed...):
It's what comes out of your ears when you're totally confused

and really, really cross!

Yeah, it's a new update to the Steam client, installing the new version of the library...you may have to allow it to install which would account for why some don't.
If you do allow it then yes, things do look different...
No easily accessed listing of your DLC...
Not hard to find though, just right click TS and chose 'Properties'
You then get a nice window open with all the info about the game...
so select the last tab in the window, amazingly enough named 'DLC' to get a list of your DLC and it's status....
No messing about searching, straight to it...
I despair about TS users at times, I really do...….. The list of DLC on the right is labelled 'View DLC in store'...that doesn't mean 'look at what
you've bought' in any version of English I've come across, not even the Barnsley dialect …(and God knows what those folk are saying) and the manage part is basically just a bigger version with pictures of the version in the 'Properties' for the game. A scrollable list, OK, being able to do a search in that list if you have a huge one is a nice touch, but as you'd usually be going in there to do something you've already decided upon you don't need to search the alphabetically sorted list found under 'Properties'
Where's someone like Henry Higgins when you need 'em?
EDIT... You can switch the bigger window to list alphabetically by clicking on the 'Name' tab, just as you'd do in Windows Explorer/File explorer...nice touch, It's really not that bad a change if you send time investigating how it all hangs together.

Hi Gary,
The new version doesn't just say "View DLC in Store" but to the right of that it says: "Manage My ### DLC", click on that TAB and you get the option to type in what item you are after and bibbidy, bobbidy, Boo, it will appear {with possibly some others with the same name.
In my case I have over 500 items, so sometimes I could spend ages scrolling through looking at the small print format. Not something I did on a regular basis.
Anyway each to their own preferences - I now do like the new option available.
Roland.

Yes, that is another way, Gary, but, it doesn't show the dates when you purchased something, which is a regular excuse why I look at what is installed/uninstalled and I can put the DLC into month/year order, I think Roland's screenshot is probably more favourable to many of us.
Cheerz. Steve.

Mine also looks like what Gary posted above but I still got to the DLC list the same was as before

I agree completely Steve; I wasn't saying it's no good, in fact it's shaping up to be a really useful change, particularly as it's supposed to be completely customisable to your own needs/wants.
I still stand by the claim though that if you're going in there to remove a route you don't use you already know which route it is--alphabetical listing trumps installed date in that case. The best bit about it though is that we haven't lost the *old* style listing and have a multitude of options.
Personally this could well be the last time I see it though, as I use the game off-line with the Steam client shut down and only the service running. That means that when I click the shortcut to TS it just loads, I don't see the library etc.
Roland, you are aware that removing routes this way not only removes the route but also the assets that go with it---the whold DLC package in other words. That of course doesn't matter in many cases, but if your chosen *junk* route comes with assets other routes you have use (think IOW assets in a multitude of freeware routes) you effectively break all those routes at a stroke.
A better way of doiung it may to be to simply just cut the route out of ..\Content\Routes and paste it into a folder named something like "Unused routes & assets" located outside of the game. As far as I'm aware Steam won't automatically re-install that route unless a verify is run or that DLC is the subject of an upgrade. To completely get round that, consider doing what a growing number of users are doing---play on a copy of the game isolated from the internet and keep Steam off line unless you need to acquire new DLC, which would go in your on-line copy of the game. You'd then copy the on-line version, minus the removed stuff, over your off-line copy.
A little more work, but keeps you in charge.
