There are the beginnings (?) of an Indian TS20xx community on the BharatStream website (see what's available at https://www.bharatstream.com/irloco.php), run by Vishva Jeet.

There's just one - Indian gauge - route, described as the "Northern Railway". The current version runs eastwards from Ludhiana to Ambala Junction and then turns north to Chandigarh. Those who follow Michael Portillo's peregrinations will recall that this is the central section of his journey from Amritsar to Shimla in Episode 1 of his Indian series.

Unsurprisingly, the products available are less sophisticated than those currently available in the Rail Simulator heartlands but IMHO this is an initiative well worth supporting. The payment system, using Paypal, is unusual (think Britkits) but has worked flawlessly for me. The prices are miniscule.

Isn't Indian gauge 5 ft 6 in? They also have a lot of metre gauge railway, I believe.

Good luck to the community over there. With India's long history of railways and enormous network it deserves to have a decent range of models.

In India we have -
A. Broad Gauge as 1676mm as major gauge.
B. Meter Gauge had been converted to Broad Gauge after the advent of Project Unigauge circa 1990s.
C. Narrow Gauge as a part of heritage trains, present in Shimla, Darjeeling and Nilgiri Mountain Railways.
Note - Many Meter Gauge lines are still running in India but they are on the countryside and on the verge of conversion to Broad Gauge.

It is indeed (as qualified by DigitalRails) - and that's what the Bharatstream addons exemplify.

Digital Rails mentioned:-
.

Looks very interesting. Sadly, the aktrains website is down at the moment but I gather that aktrains is focussing on the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) zone, modelling the broad gauge line from Guwahati to Hojai, a distance of 135 km.
