Atomic Systems

I've found this little route, it's the Portsmouth to Chichester route and is set in the 50s to 60s.

I did vote in your poll but it looks like you've got a superb such route in the 1960's Waterloo Suburban Lines which has not long been released. I've just completed several scenarios. Trevor Wood,aided by Colin Green portrays the period very well and his aim hopefully is to extend the network. The route can be downloaded from the wotawallys website.

Yes, so I have done so myself! A fantastic route - Not quite perfect in some areas, but very enjoyable all the same!

What I like is by all accounts if you turn off automatic coupling you can use the hump at Feltham for shunting,that would make a interesting scenario if there was a G16 made for TS2019

Well, now there is a motivation for someone to do so, we might see one of those gorgeous 4-8-0Ts at some point!

Out of the two in their poll, I would love to see Caledonia Works do the T3 but the 700 is undoubtedly more useful for this route.

The advantage of the 700 it will also be useful for the Southampton Weymouth Route as well,also at Bournemouth in the 50's Bilington Atlantic could be seen at Bournemouth on Brighton Bournemouth trains.

I never realised that the Brighton Atlantics got so far West! That's rather interesting (in case my avatar doesn't give it away, I'm a bit of an LBSCR nutter at times!).

The Only reason the T3 escaped the cutters torch, was because it was needed for the 1948 celebration of the opening of the Waterloo extension from the original terminus at Nine Elms.
