Ever since SSS came out with there Manor packs there have always been some missing textures. To see these you need to get the Manor to wheel slip and when the black smoke comes out of the exhaust as well as the smoke you get missing textures. I have always been going to report this to SSS but have never got round to it. It actually looks quite funny. Anyway does this happen to anyone else? BTW with the update, the Manor is good to drive whereas I found the JT default one hard to drive.

You are not the only one who gets that missing texture,and like you it only happens when the wheel slip sign comes up,as you say if you don't start slipping it's fine Don't forget this upgrade is really meant for the new Manor that coming out later this year,so that might be the reason why the JT one has this problem

Hi Mike, the missing wheel slip textures have nothing to do with Just Trains as they told me that when I contacted them about it a year or so ago but with Steam Sounds Supreme.

I also have always had those missing textures with wheel slip and I also meant to report it but never got round to it...
Made me try harder to avoid slipping!

I think between us we made a mess of that Trev...I phrased it wrongly and you interpreted it wrongly.
I know the problem of missing textures has only appeared since the SSS pack was added, I'm not bothered about that yet. What I want to know is whether the default model has a change in the exhaust smoke and extra *somethings* coming out of the chimney when wheel slip occurs.
Is the SS pack a full blown enhancement to the loco or does it just add sounds?

No, it also includes new smoke textures. Here is a short video which I shall send to SSS. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1BVF1r ... 1HVzf1HiDW The smoke textures are a lot better than the original JT one with black smoke being emitted when you put coal on the fire which wasn't there in the original. I have sent SSS an email about the missing texture plus a link to the video.

Hi Trev, I have checked with my Manors, I have never had the problem that you describe with the SSS Manors (the Missing textures in the smoke when slipping) and the smoke has always displayed correctly with all the SSS Manor packs that have been issued and is still working correctly after the last SSS update (Ultimate_GWR_Manor_Sound_Pack_v1b).

I also noticed that you are not getting 'sparks' from the wheels as they are slipping on the rails when I watched your video, which you should be seeing.

Have you tried re-installing the Manors and the SSS pack?

Yes, I did as when I got the latest update none of the Manors would work. I have had the wheel slip smoke textures missing for quite some time even before the latest update. Lumpy says that he has also got the missing textures.

This has been an issue for some users for quite some time. We have no answer to this because the Ultimate GWR Manor Sound Pack DOES NOT make any changes to the particles. The particles are as shipped with the Manors from Just Trains since the 2013/14 JT particles update.

Do you have Scenerg Quality set at less than maximum Trev?

Yes, all graphics sliders hard right.

Do you have a back up copy of the original JT installation Trev?....could be worthwhile checking that all the textures from the original pack are still installed in the post-SSS sound pack installation version, not forgetting to have a look in the Particles folder too.

Have you got JustTrains\GWR_Manor\Particles\[00]CJB_JT_Manor_Spark ? This is the texture file being called by the wheelslip routine.
