If anyone would like to take a peek before buying the new extension. Take a look at our first look video running between Holyhead and Llandudno Junction. Hopefully this gives you guys an insight on this beautiful route and finally giving the full run. :)

I'm confused.

I've bought the extension but it's installed a separate route called "North Wales Coastal - Crewe to Holyhead" but loads of people are saying it installs on top of the original.

Are they right or am I right?

No, it is a separate route - but you cannot run it UNLESS you already have NWC to Llandudno. All the tiles from Crewe to Conwy are repeated in the new route

PS Expect a PM shortly

You could remove the route but not the assets.

North Wales Coastal and Extension twin pack from Steam for £26.23, or buy North Wales Coastal from Dovetail store for £12.49 (in their deals of the week), then the Extension for £9.99 for a total of £22.48.

And folk wonder why there's a lot of cynics around here!

If anyone's interested, NWC Crewe to Holyhead with my Conwy Valley Line merged onto it is now available from my site:

I am confused !

Why are developers of add on routes, calling the new route "Crewe to Holyhead" ? I got the impression that it is a standalone route, starting only at Llandudno Jn, and ending at Holyhead ?

Not really confusing at all because the route goes from Crewe to Holyhead. The new release is an extension of the original route and adds the remaining section between Llandudno Jn and Holyhead.

So am I correct in saying that the new route will install on your system as "Crewe to Holyhead", (providing you also own the original Crewe to Llandudno route of course). So you will have then TWO routes named in your list...one that will allow you to drive only between Crewe and Llandudno Jn/Llandudno, and you will have a second route on your list, which will allow you to drive from Crewe, to Holyhead ?

<< Thank you SO MUCH Xguerra :D for this, an area I used to motor cycle a lot when staying at lake Vyrnwy.
When I noticed your offer, rushed out and got the extension and then loaded your package.
Trying a Castle QD light engine right now, just set off from Ffestiniog to Llandudno as I type. LOVING IT :o
Brilliant work
Thank You Thank You Grovel Grovel,, hmm I wonder who will add the Ffestiniog railway to this ? or even the line to Amlwch !!!!!!! I have walked the entire section.
