Thanks Peter, not tried it yet.749006 wrote:It's a reskin of the stand alone RSC Class 87 in \railworks\Assets\RSC\Class87Pack01\RailVehicles\Electric\Class87Timex wrote:I have the AP class 40 pack, where does the re-skinned class 87 live in the assets folder?
I presume my mod works for other people as nobody else responded?
Peter
With Robert saying it was an AP reskin of 87004 it lead me to this foldergptech wrote:You sure it's from the RSC 87 folder tree Peter?.... from what I can see the AP 40 pack 87s reskins (4) are all for the WCML2 loco.
Robert, which scenario is the screen shot from?
Three of 'em I believe.749006 wrote:I thought the Class 40 Pack installed a reskin for the RSC Class 27?
So if you can't see the loco, how can you say that it's that one that needs editing?749006 wrote:I decided to try the Class 87 004 AP that sits in my RSC Class 87 Folder and nothing happened - no loco

Think back to when we did the loco's/Pendolino with the panto down...http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... &sk=t&sd=a, which also might explain why you have a seemingly off 87 in the RSC class 87 folders as it could be an attempt to port the methodology over to that model.749006 wrote:......and does not have the Pantograph Spark that Robert mentioned in the first postAnd I'm fairly sure I did not alter it

The OP said it was a problem with 87004 which came with the AP Class 40gptech wrote:So if you can't see the loco, how can you say that it's that one that needs editing?749006 wrote:I decided to try the Class 87 004 AP that sits in my RSC Class 87 Folder and nothing happened - no loco
No he didn't...749006 wrote:The OP said it was a problem with 87004 which came with the AP Class 40
No mention of a number, and the screenshot shows it as 87032!RobertM wrote:Using the re-skinned WCMLS 87 that comes with the AP class 40 pack
OK, so you got the reverse... reporting which loco it wasn't.749006 wrote:hoping having posted my finding somebody - the OP maybe - might have reported back which loco was causing the problem
Hindsight will make me a millionaire....once I work out how to bottle and market it...749006 wrote:I had not tested the Class 87-004 AP from the RSC pack which in hindsight I should have.
See what I mean? you hadn't tested it but posted749006 wrote:As I found a Class 87-004 AP in the RSC Class 87 pack I thought that was the loco with the problem So I remove the lines in the bin file to remove the spark...………….

and to confuse everybody even more....749006 wrote:I edited the bin file and removed these lines

The Pantograph does not have a spark when down - or when running
So, you said it's definitely that loco, and that once the .bin file was edited it definitely didn't have a spark....but then say when you try the loco, nothing shows.....749006 wrote:I decided to try the Class 87 004 AP that sits in my RSC Class 87 Folder and nothing happened - no loco
As you might have gathered from the screen shots, I don't have that particular reskin installed, but the nameplate on the default model has a texture for the plate itself, and then the name itself is in the number textures folder. You're seeing the red plate, but no name so that suggests that the name texture has been set to one with a black alpha channel to make it invisible. If it was missing you'd get a missing textures texture showing.RobertM wrote:has anyone got the nameplates not working
