Thanks for the clarification Jordi. I agree both products will be high standard, I love the Railright class 40. Good to hear things are happening with the class 47, hopefully more classes will follow.

Good to hear.GatwickSpotting wrote:To clear some things up 'officially' from the MKS side of things:
RailRight indicated in March of this year they were no longer finishing their 37. Many parties had been holding off any 37 related development in respect and waiting for the RailRight version. Once it was understood the RailRight 37 was no longer in development and no longer affiliated with AP, we (MKS) went ahead and started our own, as the 47 was still awaiting some work from another party. It is a shame we were not informed by the party privy to information of BOTH the sale of RailRight's 37 assets to JT, and the commencement of the MKS/AP 37 - as we would've been in a position to stand down.
As things stand, I expect both versions of the 37 to make it to market, and I'm sure both will be a ruddy good drive. It is a shame that an overlap has happened like this, but the fact it so rarely occurs is a testimony to the diligence and respect developers have towards each other, to avoid treading on toes.
Is the rumoured MKS Class 185 still a thing?

Isn't the WL one based on the 37 from Settle-Carlisle? The WHL 37 is from RailRight, but since that is a Thomson route no Commercial scenario packs are allowed for it...jstange wrote:If AP include the WL (DRS) version and provide updated scenarios to use the new 37 in all WL scenarios, they have my money for sure...
