I think you may have a problem on your device - the background is definitely black!
The text is mostly white, with some yellow

It maybe that you are looking at the site on a tablet as on mine it is yellow writing on white but go to the end of the page and click on "desktop version" and it changes to the white and yellow on black.

Regarding the FNA scenario - this has worked for me and my testers on numerous occasions! I will check again, though

Thanks Nick - I was sure you would have picked this up. Explains why I had a similar distant indication on the [SP] 8T37 0820 shortly after leaving Mold Junction.

Any thoughts about regressing this back into steam days in the 1950s?

My railway photos are now on Google + - links to the albums are in this thread http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 9&t=149558

Lots of steam and early diesels from 1959 to 1963.

Yes, but not yet. I have "Steaming over Shap", "Steaming through the Dales", "Steaming to the Seaside", "Steaming through the Midlands", "Central East Lancashire Lines" to finish before I can think of "Steaming through North Wales". Then there is SLANC to finish (and then regress to 50/60s). So that's next year sorted!
I have dissected the FNA scenario, and it may be saveable. It seems that there is a problem with a scenario if the opening message disappears (which it had done with this) - that's what you get if you try to tweek it too much. I have deleted the player loco, and brought in another, recovering all the tasks (NOT moving the icons, but redoing them). The first part starts as it should, so will test first thing in the morning. If it works, it will be in the update that will be published tomorrow afternoon.

Driving the [NH} 6M13 Sellafield - North Wales FNA everything went well until I got to Llandudno Junction, but then I couldn't trigger the location of the Llandudno Junction dn yard setback, so the points leading into the down yard wouldn't change. I tried moving through the area slowly stopping often, but nothing happened.
Problem sorted. The scenario can now run to completion - new files in the update later today

An update for the route is now available on the download site North Wales Coast - BR Blue https://www.wotawallysbits.co.uk/nwc-brblue

If you already have the route and assets installed, then you only need download the update files - and run the batch file again.
New users will need to install the route and assets first, and then the update

The following files were omitted from the original, and are now included

Audio files for track joints
Telegraph Poles were missing. Misc folder containing them added
Chester EC nameboard files
UKTS_FP\Railway_Buildings\PJT\Scenery\Buildings2\FP_PJT_Shed_01Cr; correct path in batch file
The old ash collector at Mold Jc., texture files added

A tunnel occlusion at Rockcliffe Hall had been deleted - now reinstated

Llandudno Station had a run round release between Platforms 1 & 2 - now included

All NWC\DTG distant signals replaced by Yelland distants

There is 1 new scenario, and 4 have been amended

Comments welcome in this thread

Just love this route, did two runs on Sunday one with this route and the second using the default version, there is no comparison, much better route, and of course BR blue era had better trains, although I don't remember a few things that have changed over the years since I first travelled the line in 1982, fantastic work, swapped out class 37 for 40`s and class 31`s for 25`s and class 47 for the pre HIH varients.

Does anybody know where to get the Micheal Whatley vans from that are used in `SP` scenarios as I don't have these and RW_Tools keep throwing errors when I try swapping these.

The Michael Whiteley items are DLC from Steam Marketplace (VanWagonPack3). There are also CoalWagonPack1 and MineralWagonPack2 sets

Been looking forward and waiting ever so eagerly for this after the announcement of the regression.

Good timing too just after the release of AP's MKIIa-c pack

This weekend is a free one, so hmmmmmm I wonder what I will be doing? :D

Excellent work chaps
Class 40's enjoyed their working life so much they whistled whilst they worked

Nick and Andy

Thanks for getting the update out there. I'm just running the [NH] 2M17 1215 Bangor-Crewe scenario and get some missing items. One of the Loose Consists is looking for Kuju\RailSimulator\RailVehicles\Freight\LMSBrakeVan\BR\Wagon\brakevan.bin (which looks to be the 20t Brake Van (Grey)). Looking in my LMSBrakeVan folder, I have BR1 to BR5 but no straight BR. Can you point me in the right direction, please?

Hi Stephen

To be honest, I cannot remember where I picked this one up. The bin file is dated 2008, one year later than the base Kuju van. The BR1-5 are dated 2011. As it is in a loose consist, the best thing to do is run the scenario, and press F2 when the "missing item" screen appears. Say yes to save, and away you go.
If you have RW_Tools, then you could change it for one of those BR1-5 vans

Hi
That brake van is always causing problems in scenario's ,it's not only this route, but others like Cambridge and ECML,has the same problem,I reckon this probably dates back to rail simulator days.
All I do is just swap it out and use a brake van from a list in RW Tools
