That brake van is always causing problems in scenario's ,it's not only this route, but others like Cambridge and ECML,has the same problem,I reckon this probably dates back to rail simulator days.
All I do is just swap it out and use a brake van from a list in RW Tools
Yes, you are probably right. I will remove it from my assets, and swap with one of the others in any other scenarios on my routes.

On another scenario:
Since I amended the track at Llandudno Station (crossover between platforms 1 and 2), the Scenario "Red Dragon" is failing; the stationary DMU in p2 had decided it would be fun to mix with the Express sitting in p1. I have removed it, and also moved Red Dragon to p4. I will post an update to the scenario later. Need to check that others are still OK

The BR brake van in question (I believe) is from the old Railsim days. Still works ok today.

Hi Nick and Andy,

I've just downloaded in prep for the weekend and I've just done a quick Asset check via RW_Tools, just the 2 missing:-

RailWorks\Assets\NickHudson\RailNetwork\UKStructureGauge\MBUKstructureGauge.bin
RailWorks\Assets\Wilburton\Stockton\scenery\vehicles\LeylandPantherStockton.bin

Could you put me on the right track, as it were, to download these

Cheers.

Ignore the first one - it is one of my construction tools - thought I had removed it (you do not wish to see it as it would be sitting on a track next to a platform! The single decker bus is just sitting at Llandudno Junction station. I will post a link to it shortly (it was not in Version 1.0, and I included it for the extension to the Conwy Valley Line, which will be posted in the next 2 weeks)

What a superb piece of work this is - many thanks for all your efforts it is really appreciated. What struck me is not so much the extensive railway infrastructure as the extensive heavy industry. I had forgotten what it used to be like - staggering.

A couple of fixes

During the update, we amended the track layout at Llandudno slightly. This broke the scenario "Red Dragon". A revise scenario is now available as a fix, obtainable here https://www.wotawallysbits.co.uk/nwc-brblue

Also included is the asset for a bus that had been missed.

Thanks for that.

Well, I had a run on the 09:00 from L'dudno to Chester (after swapping out some MK1's with the new AP MKII's) and WOW! What a brilliant job you have both done, oh the memories came flooding back! Was great to see the old goods yards and sheds along the way and of course the fair at Colwyn Bay.

One thing we used to do when heading down the coast from Chester was to get off at Junction and in the winter evenings when it was dark around 7-8ish, we'd head over the sidings and sneak our way into the sheds to see what loco's were inside and we'd just sit in the cabs before heading back - oh happy days!

This morning I decided to get this up and running having read the posts here over the least few days. What a fantastic effort - a really beautifully detailed route. I was really enjoying bowling along in the AP 40 on the Llandudno to York scenario - all was going well until about three miles from journey's end at Chester!

Looking forward to trying some of the other scenarios.

Thanks again for all your efforts in producing this for us all to enjoy.

That happened to me too, around Saltney Jct, where there's track heading off to Wrexham, I thought it was because I missed a signal whilst in passenger view.

Sorry about that - I will pass on the message to the scenario creator to see what can be done

That's probably where I derailed first time. Second time I did it, I noticed the distant signal was down at Mold and the signal just before the junction is red. Completed it second time :D

Good to hear - will pass it on to the scenario author

Edit - you must have been early at the Junction (speeding?) as there is a train coming in from Wrexham that has the road in front of you!
It can be annoying when you have just run for nearly an hour, with all the signals in your favour, to have to stop at a red. But such is life!
