No need to apologise, no harm done, but look at the site for yourself...

Royal Scot North Wales Route The Irish Mail Part 1 scenario. I purchased this when it first came out and have only just got round to driving it. When I can get it to go it is a nice loco to drive have got it to 75 MPH in this scenario. The problem I have is the fireman won't always put coal on the fire. I have the fire door open and you can hear him shovelling the coal with the R key pressed but it is not going onto the fire and when you are moving the fire mass is decreasing while you are putting the coal on the fire. I eventually have to abort the scenario because I cannot maintain boiler pressure. Even when stationary no coal is going onto the fire. I uninstalled the loco then installed it but that seems to have made the problem worse.

I have been in contact with Ben and he is looking at it. It seems to be intermittent as I got as far as Chester once.

Problem solved. Don't put coal on the fire with the F4 HUD open.

As Trev123 mentioned, the F4 HUD causes a bit of confusion with the built-in, scripted auto-fireman on BMG locos. In fact, the F4 HUD also locks out any manual (keyboard) firing on standard locos too.

Best wishes,

Ben

It will be next, then the route followed by the long-awaited Merchant Navy loco. 8)

It's nice to know that the Merchant Navy hasn't been put on the back burner,it will be ideal for the new Waterloo Suburban Route, even though it only goes from Hampton Court Junction at present to Waterloo.
It would look good on either ACE or Bournemouth Belle Trains.

Welsh Marches route...
(Searched for the previous route thread, but it’s now locked)

Anyway, looking forward to this route. When originally announced, I got the impression that it would be an extension of / could be linked to the DTG South Wales route...

Is this still likely? Since then BMG has moved away from DTG / Steam and use their own or partners commerce sites.

[1] Unlikely a route from one creator, Bossman Games, would attach to another creators route.
[2] Why do you say BMG has moved away from DTG / Steam? Their 8F was released on Steam back in August

Good point re the 8F, although I might have missed that at the time...

Re linking the routes, I thought there were some early posts suggesting this was an extension north from Newport. Now, I may well have read between the lines, although some previous posts suggested a common route origin???

BG seem to offer limited verions on Steam but full ones through their own site.

Keeps a foot in both camps I suppose.
