I can't find any sort of change log so I wonder what is changed / fixed in this version now?
Do the Smokebox and VictoryWorks locos work properly again? Have route editing issues been fixed? Fewer random Access Violations?
I'd love to know but don't see any information from DTG yet!

I’m still getting the Access Violation messages, not on any edited routes or scenarios (because I don’t do that) but randomly on all sorts of scenarios and routes even Quick Drives. For me the game is unplayable now.

According to a translation from
https://trainsim.hcc.nl/
On Tuesday 23 October 2018, DTG distributed an update of TS2019. The version number is now v65.7a . The adjustments in this update are limited. These are extra programs to make sound libraries easier to install and support has been added for dealing with crash dumps (source: rail-sim.de forum). The advice to only use TS2019 32bit if you are going to work with the editor (build / build) will be maintained.

It should update automatically when you open Steam, unless you've disabled auto-updates.

Well, I've had this patch automatically installed and we all now have a new file called an IAOptimiser.exe, and not knowing what it is I decided to click on it, and this is the pop up box -
It's a Kuju optimising animator for body parts and bones, possibly something to do with Halloween perhaps, or, is it something more sinister.......
Cheerz. Steve.

We've all had that for many, many years. It was discussed on here as part of the Blender export process over 8 years ago.

You began posting comments on this forum from April 2017, your profile states that you're only 11 years old, so, how do you know what was being debated on here over 8 years ago????
Cheerio.

I don't think it was appropriate for you to bring up his age like that, not here.
However, age regardless, he was correct and the IAOptimiser tool has been around for quite a few iterations of Railworks.

I'm not 11, that was a mistake on my part when setting up my profile. I had never notcied the mistake because I never had a reason to look at my own profile. It's now corrected.
I do find it amazing that because someone dared to challenge your assertion that this was a new file that you then had to delve into their profile and take a note of their post history. I joined in 2015 and first posted in 2017 but had been viewing the forum for around a decade before that. I'm not really sure why it matters?
You could have just asked how I knew, it's called the search function. I could have done that as an 11 year old non-member.

What a pity that you are not 11. I was just about making a joke about digital natives who grow up with using the search function when they want to know something.
Now we can just boringly state that everybody who copies IAOptimiser into the search box on the top right of every page finds out that it was first mentioned on 16 Aug 2010 23:06 by Henning, the creator of the Blender exporter for Blender 2.49.
All the .exe files in the railworks folder are expected to show new modification or rather creation date because the change to 64 bit will mean that they all are recompiled and the new version will be a bit bigger than the old one simply because they use 64 bit to address memory cells instead of 32 bit.
