Of course it was still there---you're playing the exact same scenario using the exact same stock on the exact same route you played under 32bit.
Issues with editing seem to be confined to route building stuff in 64bit, not 32. That's why DTG have advised that the 32bit editor be used for now until they deal with it.

As far as I'm aware no changes have been made to the game via an update, so anything you observe as changed has to have been done locally.

Have you tried it since the crash with just the Esc key?...that should just do the same as the pause key and bring up the Continue/Quit/Edit etc options screen.

Hi gptech, pleased to report that opening the 64 bit version via the steam library and selecting open via 64 bit the ESP key now goes via quit and rate scenario without a crash.

I do have one bug or something to add about my 64 bit version via library choice.
I particularly enjoy Riveria Freight Ramble Part 1 2 & 3 (an add on program?) part 1 at the finale to entering siding 3 the signal is green but the point did not give entry to siding it worked OK in #TS2018.

Whatever method you use to start the game you end up running exactly the same software , so there's nothing particular to how you do it.
The 3 part scenario you've added-- not an additional program as such-- was it from the Workshop?
Is the junction at the end one manually controlled?

OK gptech your information noted.

To be honest I cannot recall where I downloaded the ramble from. it appears in the opening Drive choice under Standard, there are 3 parts titled Rivieria line in the 50's using a grange.

(it should not have been a manual controlled switch it is signalled from the main gantry of signals to the siding. It takes and hour to get to the position so perhaps I can come back to you after checking my actions again in the near future)

Adding to my knowledge could you please advise me how to get to another add on to this Riveria 50's line titled Fish to Exeter from Kingswear I think it is available from RoyBeck I keep putting the title into Steam Store but no positive reply. Mr Peddelston plays it on Utube)

OK...a bit of waffling first

The Steam Store is where you'd buy DTG/DTG Partner addons for the game; locos or routes but as far as I'm aware not scenarios. User created Scenarios can be found in the Workshop, or on sites such as this.

There's this in the Workshop.... https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/ ... to+Exeter+
is that the one?

That glitch may have been caused by the upgrade to the 64bit platform, or (more likely) by the general "tightening up" of how the core game works---this has been noted before at yearly upgrades as small changes to improve other aspects can, and will/have, cause minor glitches. Usually easily fixed by amending the scenario slightly, perhaps something as simple as just adding a 'go via' instruction to force the correct path. It could even be caused if you were early or late in the scenario so that can't be discounted yet.
If you try the scenario under 32bit and it works then it would seem to be a 64bit issue, if it doesn't then it'd need more investigation.
I'll search for the scenario and see if I can replicate your issue.

EDIT....take the above as the longer, more boring, version of what Peter wrote.... :)

Thank Gptech and Peter H.
For those links and information, I now suspect I was running late so will try and sort out my yard shunting a bit faster in future :(

Hospital and Doc. around at the moment so off free time, nothing serious.

edit. I note my posting time of thread/post is running an hour early?

Just run the scenario under 64bit and it also works fine---the points could have been locked if you stopped a wee bit too close to the junction also; it's always worthwhile creeping forward in situations like that.
I'm happy enough that there's nothing seriously wrong with the scenario, or how the 64bit version of the game is handling the scenario so we'll have to put this one down as another of those 'wee foibles/glitches that games throw at us'

Re your time..... go to your User Control Panel, click the 'Board Preferences' tab and set "Summer Time/DST is in effect:" to "Yes"
That should bring you back in line with the rest of the UK :)

A set of files updated TS to v65.7a this morning. No idea what this fixes, mainly replacements for exes and DLLs.

I have tried updating one of the WCMlv4 scenarios to v5 as some track layout has shifted meaning trains are sitting in the dirt so to speak. Get an access violation error in both 32 and 64 bit when selecting the drivable consist to drag it onto the tracks. The AI consists moved without any problems. It's one of Lord Bickerstaff's Silverlink era 313 scenarios from WFJ to EUS.

It's one of the scenarios in this wcml v4 pack Gary. Sorry, I'm not by PC now to give you the scenario number as I'm at work.

Thanks Steve, there's no need for the scenario number--I'll enjoy 'em all :D
