The bat file does lots of copying etc and at the end seems to come up with an error message viz.

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets>Del /F /Q "Alex55/WCMLv5/PreLoad"

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets>Copy "WCMLv5 Update\Alex55\WCMLv5\Preload" "Alex55\WCMLv5\Preload"
The system cannot find the path specified.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets>Copy "WCMLv5 Update\Alex55\WCMLv5\Environment\Terrain" "Alex55\WCMLv5\Environment\Terrain"
The system cannot find the path specified.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets>Del /F /Q 7za.exe
Could Not Find C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\7za.exe

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets>RD /S /Q "WCMLv5 Installation files"
The system cannot find the file specified.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets>RD /S /Q "WCMLv5 Update"
The system cannot find the file specified.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets>Del "WCMLv5_Installer.bat"
Could Not Find C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\WCMLv5_Installer.bat

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets>pause"

The route now seems to have become unstable for me - needs the scenery quality turned down more and any attempt with a quickdrive ends in a crash (bizzarely at times to the drive menu not the desktop)
Thanks for all your efforts with this route.

Thanks for your feedback.
There is section in the Installation instructions referencing Quick Drive scenarios (which I'm sure you've read).
Until 64 bit arrives, try reducing Scenery Quality settings or move the “Preload” folder to another location. You should then be able to run the scenarios.
I could have excluded AI from the quick drives, but have included it for those who's system can manage around 50 AI movements.

If you're getting dumps then turn down scenery quality a notch or two. The QD has quite a bit of AI .. At least until 64bit. No problems to report here so far, except for a clocking the unusual sight of an Arriva Wales 158 down in Bletchley.

I just Reinstalled The Original V5 just in the middle of Fixing the wires and making my own QD In Ward editor  It’s just as well I’m a Route builder myself so might even extend it as far as Preston

Thanks Robin.
See response to deltic100 regarding Quick Drive scenarios. (I also get "dumps" when on MAX settings)
The majority of the batch failures you have reported are attempts to remove unwanted installation files (both for the original install and the update) and will be reported if the files have already been removed by yourself.
The top two commands would fail if you have deleted/removed the Preload folder from the original installation.
The third command failure should have executed correctly ???
The installation worked on my system on two test installs with just the required TS DLC installed.
I will look again at the commands and sequencing

Hi Steve, thanks for your feedback.
The AI that shows up will very much depend on what DLC/reskins you have.
The Arriva Wales 158 had clearly got lost
Just remove the "Class158+4car.bin" from the Preload folder and he should be back in Chester where he belongs :)

So what You’re Saying is that if you delete all the . AI Preloads I will not have to mess around with the Graphic settings in Game

If you delete, (or move to another location) the "Preload" folder from the Alex55 folder, 99% of AI should be removed.
Just tried this and only had a couple of 73stock AI on the Bakerloo line. (this was mentioned in the readme  )
