There is a piece of OHLE missing after Pfm 3 NB at BInt. Its just after the points on tile-000110+000097 Lat 52.45226 Long -1.72679
Found it. thanks for that :)
There's also a "short" section end of P4 NB
Sorry, South Bound (I think I'm loosing it :-? )
I passed that bit twice before seeing it even though you pointed out where it was. Fooled by the fact it's broken halfway along rather than missing completely

I've created a Bakerloo Line scenario - a quiet early morning run from Queen's Park to Elephant and back. The problem I have is that on the return trip there are yellow and red signals intermittently all the way back the line. I can't 'tab' but that's ok as I'm able to pass them without any emergency brake application/'game over'. It's just not very prototypical. In the player instructions I guess I could mention that it's fine to ignore all signals on the northbound run...

Any thoughts as to what is happening here? Thanks in advance.

On the way back you're reversing, have you tried 'Ctrl + TAB' ?

Put together a new scenario heading north to see how the signals behave; that'd show whether it's a route or scenario issue.

You could try running an AI train in front of you. it doesn't even have to stop so there is no chance it will impeed you, it just "primes" the signals on route.
I often do this on some routes, when the singals seem to need a kick.

Hi Michael. I've just tried a "there and back" scanario and not had any signal issues.
I'd be interested in having a look at your scenario to see if I have the same problem.
If there is an issue with the route, I'd like to fix it before releasing the update.

Alex, small question please.
I havnt yet installed this as Ive been keeping watch over comments, now want to, but just at moment I dont have enough space anywhere for Back Up
Do any of the "to be installed" files in your Rar overwrite any existing files ?
I dont have AP TE pack yet.
Cheers & Thanks for your your work.

I think my first question would be, how much spare "space" do you have ?

Hi Alex
On the HD i intend to install V5 141GB
My assets total 214 GB
My content totals 30 GB

Ive just ordered a 1Tb M.2 to be my new C: but that won't be here till Thursday.
I dont want uninstall v4 just at the moment.

I normally back up on a couple of 4TB in a caddy but thanks to a power cut a few weeks ago that turned them into RAW discs which I now have to recover (slowly) so they can be used and everything recovered . (it also happened a couple of years ago so I know it can be done)

I think you may have to patient and wait until to get your new HD.
In answer to your question, there is only one very small “default” file which is overwritten during the WCMLv5 installation process.
However, many files and folders already on your system need to have copies made during this process, for which you will need some free space.
Although the compressed download size of the route is about 170mb you're going to need closer to 1GB by the end of the installation.
You don't need to back up the whole of your TS files.
The vast majority of your DLC is in fact, already backed up.
Stored in the “cloud”, on the servers of Steam , Just Trains, Armstrong Powerhouse etc.
If you do encounter any problems, just re download and reinstall.
Your own backups will simply save time putting things back to how they were.
You may have things which you've customised or reskins you have installed and it's always worth making a backup of these.
If you're short of space, your hard drive is likely to have less than 20% free and it may not work as well as it should, I would consider freeing up some space.
Additional internal or external hard drives have never been so cheap.
Cloud storage is not expensive and most providers will give you at least 5GB for free.

I don't know if the game sits on your C:/ Drive but it would be worth moving it elsewhere

Thanks, Gary, John and Alex, for taking the time to reply and look into this. I have an AI service some distance (several stations) ahead of me on the return trip so that shouldn't affect the signals. Some signals are green and some yellow/red - that's what is odd. It's as if they're showing random aspects.

Must be down to my installation somehow (a bit like the odd foliage at Kensal Green/King's Langley that I have). I always suspected I had a screw loose somewhere - perhaps it's filtered down to my setup...

...which you can move; it's also a decent idea to get your personal files (documents, photos etc) off the system drive in addition to games and programs, leaving the *system* drive purely (as much as possible) for the system.
(https://www.techsupportalert.com/conten ... -drive.htm)

You don't need the potential speed that an M.2 drive/interface supports for documents, so for the cost of a 1TB M.2 drive (maybe even slightly less) you could have bought a 250GB one plus a 1TB+ SATA SSD--fast system drive and a big wedge of fast storage.
OK, the old wisdom about having programs off the system drive is negated somewhat by the sheer speed of SSD drives (that's all M.2 is by the way, the change has been in the interface) so disc access waits are pretty much negligible but it could still be seen as prudent to have your important eggs in a separate basket.
