Re: TS2019 will be 64 bit!
AFAIK it's mostly been two very recently released routes + one that (for a while at least) is unique to the new release. Raton, Waterloo - Portsmouth and a new EU route, possibly.NickG wrote:I wonder what routes we will get, I guess three, uk, us and germany, waterloo Portsmouth foe the UK?

Re: TS2019 will be 64 bit!
But - if you look at ETS2 the routes are the same in the 32-bit version as they are in the 64-bit version - no changes were made route wise when the front end was updated to 64-bit. Couldn't the same thing happen to TS 2019? That is, the operating code becomes 64-bit still leaving it able to address any of the current routes?
Maybe not!!!

That wasn't exactly the point he was making.peterfhayes wrote:But - if you look at ETS2 the routes are the same in the 32-bit version as they are in the 64-bit version - no changes were made route wise when the front end was updated to 64-bit. What NickG and USRailFan were responding to is that if you look at the previous annual expansions, the default bundled routes in the package change.
Last year, the new TS2018 package had Mittenwaldbahn, Peninsular Corridor, and North Wales Coastal - which was brand new at the time.
And subsequently USRailFan is making the prediction that because we've had new large US and UK routes recently, that a third unannounced route to be potentially packed up in TS2019 might be European.
- unless Mannheim - Frankfurt is released before TS2019, then who knows.
This is nothing to do with the actual make-up of routes changing because of 64-bit.
Re: TS2019 will be 64 bit!
Don't think Raton will be one of the routes, it was developed by Milepost, DTG usually bundle their own routes.
Don't think the Frankfurt extension of Mannheim will be bundled either, the DTG statements about this rout state you have to own Mannheim Karlsruhe as a prerequisite.
My guess is along with Waterloo - Portsmouth, we will get soldier summit to salt lake, plus an exclusive European

Release October 11th.
Routes:
- Soldier Summit with Salt Lake City Extension
- Rhine Railway with Frankfurt Extension

Can be 3 routes or 5 depending on how you look at it.
Some extra unannounced items for variations on the above core package to be revealed at a later date.

Only one for me Tim, the Rhine, was waiting for a sale for the Portsmouth route, and not too fussed about the yank one, not my scene.

I wonder if you will be able to get the 64 bit part without the routes,I bought Portsmouth direct when it came out, also I have got the Rhine routes, not really fused about the Frankfurt extension, and definatly not interested in any American Routes

As I understand it, the 64bit comes with the free update. You have to pay to get the routes. This is what has happened the past few yearsmichaelhendle wrote:I wonder if you will be able to get the 64 bit part without the routes,I bought Portsmouth direct when it came out, also I have got the Rhine routes, not really fused about the Frankfurt extension, and definatly not interested in any American Routes

Re: TS2019 will be 64 bit!
Are we being expected to re-buy every DLC that we have ever purchased for TS2018, so we can run it in TS2019?
Wow, that is great marketing!

Re: TS2019 will be 64 bit!
Any content that runs on TS2018 should run on both 32- and 64-bit versions of TS2019. A few demanding routes that ran badly on TS2018 may now run properly on the 64-bit version of TS2019.

There's been no indication whatsoever from DTG that this is the case!peterfhayes wrote:Are we being expected to re-buy every DLC that we have ever purchased for TS2018, so we can run it in TS2019?

IB
I was going on the announcement on the DTG TS 2019 announcement showing that TS2019 will come with 4 routes:
Sorry, I had forgotten this: To do with TS 2018 content
I got confused and I (mis) interpreted that to mean that we would have to purchase any other DLC not contained in that announcement.
I guess that we will have to wait and see!

https://live.dovetailgames.com/live/tra ... 1514683415As if getting all that wasn’t enough, we will also bringing a few varied editions of TS2019 that will include everything above (4 routes), and something extra to give you even bigger deals! We will reveal more on the various TS2019 editions soon.
Sorry, I had forgotten this: To do with TS 2018 content
But why introduce a TS 2019 version say of PDL when according to the above quote "your collection (TS 2018?) will accessible and playable well into the future"Absolutely nothing will happen to your content. It will all continue to work in 32-bit and will also work in 64-bit too. There’s nothing you need to do. Train Simulator 64-bit will just work with all of your content from 32-bit and some of it might even be more stable overall – though we’ll need to monitor this, and you can help us by telling us how you’re getting along.
