Anyone know a quick way of removing the AP Stability Pack without doing a full file verification?
Oh, and erm... well done, DTG. Can't remember the last time I said that so yeah, well done.

If I run the 32b batch file and run the 32bit program i get an error saying MSVCR100.dll is missing. If I run the 64b batch file and the 64b program I get the Access Violation fault. I have done a verify files but nothing changed.

In theory you should not have to run the batch manager as the game starts in 32bit by default.jstange wrote:Additionally my tip for changing the sounds to use the "64-bit version" of the sound library (from the other thread):
---------------------------------------------
For changing to 64-bit you copy:
railworks/install/OpenAL/64bit/OpenAL32.dll into the railworks main folder, overwriting the existing file.
For changing back to 32-bit you copy:
railworks/install/OpenAL/32bit/OpenAL32.dll into the railworks main folder, overwriting the existing file.

You will know if you are running 32 bit or 64 bit when you start the game as there is a splash screen that shows when the game is loading saying 32 bit or 64 bit. Someone on Steam has said that the 95 MB download is just for people whos game is just updating the core game to 64 bit and the 2.4 GB download is for people that already have the routes. Don't know how correct this is.ttjph wrote:I too had a 95 MB download. It appears to run fine (from a cursory test) on my dual-core 8 GB system though I now need to go back and confirm that my desktop shortcut to railworks64.exe is actually running 64 bit...
I did think the sounds were a bit directional so may try the 'fix' later.

How did you solve it?anthonye wrote:Ok, sorted now, left a bit outanthonye wrote:One thing it did notice though is the set fov, I tried it under the steam property's and also created a short cut for the 64 bit on desktop.
LOL I deliberately chose that route for precisely that reason Garygptech wrote:bongo...try a scenario on the default GEML----given it's history the extension is not the best route to test with.
Maybe it's a flaw in the scenario, not a 32/64-bit issue?bongoboy wrote:1p48 Liverpool St to Norwich on GEML Extension still dumped on meat Goodmayes running 64bit
