I think you'll find that Xavier has been there, done that and (for all I know) bought the T-shirt... :D

See http://backdatedtrainsim.weebly.com/rou ... loads.html.

I had a run along this line last year whilst holidaying in Conwy, and if Xavier has modelled the Dyfi Ospreys I'll be as happy as a pig in the stuff pigs are happy in :D

EDIT...I'm happy anyway.....

Whats this?! A Yorkshire man happy! That's unheard of! My brother in law is a Donny man and he's never been happy! Miserable beggars are the norm! :D

Didn't think the Dyfi Ospreys made it that far north.
I know the Glaslyn Ospreys nest at the extremes of Pont Croesor, adjacent to the Welsh Highland Railway, or at Dovey Junction. Quite the distance away.

But back on topic, I hope it doesn't disappoint.

Completely off topic, so apologies in advance...at least 2 of the Glaslyn chicks have visited Dyfi, looking at the nest site presumably with the idea od 'taking over', which is a common way for Ospreys to choose a nest site---makes sense to use an existing nest as it would suggest it's got all that's needed; food, security etc.
Similarly the Dyfi birds give other possible sites the once over too. Tracking records (the Dyfi chicks carry GPS transmitters) show they often arrive in the Uk from the North and work down the valleys to get to home.

There ya go... all done, back to trains now :)

I doubt that it will Xavier, your other routes have been extremely well done and richly deserve the accolades they've had. I'm looking forward to this one myself.
