The expansion first....

Copying the .bin files for the platform blocks from CR's East Coast to CCfE will get them to show in ACL, but those copied .bin files will still be pointing to the East Coast folder to load the .GeoPcDx files and therefore the textures.
Messy.
Add to that, as intimated above, you'd be adding files to a route's asset set that aren't used in that route--confusing as well as messy.
Copying those files would also give you multiple .bin files pointing to the same .GeoPcDx. Duplicate files with the same descriptive text so only one would show in the available assets listing, meaning you wouldn't be sure which one was used if you set to and built a route. That might be a very big 'if', but the possibility is there.

OK... a pre-updated CCfE gives rise to this at Par in ACL...

Looks like a milk float has spilt it's load.

Run ACL through RW Tools, and amongst all the *missing* assets (most of them will be assets you do have, just 'hidden' from RW Tools by being in .ap archives) you'll find

Image

That's just 14 individual assets, definitely not enough to be a reason to buy another route, when they're duplicated in CR's ECML

Select the first one in RW Tools, click the "Substitute Missing Scenery Item" and work your way through the directories to the file in ..\Creative\Rail\EastCoast\Scenery\Procedural to select the version you have.

Image

Click 'OK' and that's the first one done...

Image

Work through the list, just make sure you have the 'Loft' check box selected when you do the loft item in the list

Image

Once you've done 'em all....

Image

The only one you won't be able to swap from East Coast is the Treffy Viaduct, which was changed as part of the CCfE update---I'll see if I can find what the original asset was.

Hi Gary

Wow..thanks for the lesson in substitution ! I have now got a complete island platform at PAR (Platforms 2 and 3). Thanks !

HOWEVER, I still have the yellow and black "missing texture" signs, all along Platform 1, and the Station Entrance/Approach areas. Although the platform surface looks to be present, there are no textures.

Any final help on this one my friend ?

Thanks

Derek

Now you're just being awkward on purpose!!

Platform 1 would seem to be made up of the concrete_block_01 asset though as you've missing textures on the approach area I'm not so certain that it's that particular asset that's causing the bother---an invisible loft over the top, if the invisible texture is missing, will still give rise to missing texture flagging. Yeah, I know that makes no sense but an invisible texture is still a texture, albeit one with the alpha channel blacked out so it doesn't show.
If you run the route through RW Tools again, and then exit the report of missing assets you'll be invited to check for missing textures---give that a whirl and see if it throws anything up that looks related.
A screen shot would help; if you drop into a scenario that runs to Par just press the camera button on the HUD once you get there---use the helicopter view or leave the train completely to get a good view. That screenshot will be saved wherever you have Steam set up to save 'em, there's an option in the Steam client to view screenshots where you can identify what it is and upload to sites such as https://postimages.org/ (free, no sign up needed)
Once the shot is uploaded you'll be given various links to use in forums etc--choose the direct link option and post that link in here.
