The best value soundpacks imho are for the Class 92 and 442 - both add significant extra features and are in effect enhancement packs for half the price. I also really like the rolling stock sounds which make a much bigger difference than I expected. Noisy freight wagons add a lot to immersion, even on AI trains.

don't drive the 442 and the class 92 much, so prob not worth it for me. Will probably go for the wagon sound packs, as I found the old wagon sound pack made a big difference

One sound pack that really improved on the DTG product for me was the Class 101 Dmu - you really drive the unit as you would the real train.
None of the racing engines with the 101 as it comes,
And the pack was updated to include all variations of the Class 101, the Class 105 Cravens, the Class 117 & 121 suburban Dmu's

already got that pack, its good, but its intresting that Richard did the original sounds for the DTG class 101

IIRC the origional class 101 sound pack that DTG released AP did the sounds for. As i am sure his name was in the credits
