Hi
After looking at the videos I have decided to get this route over the Arlburg route,in the Arlburg route the mountains just didn't look right to me.
I really liked the look of this route,
Especially Basle as I've been through there quite a few times, also from both sides of the Rhine the French Side and the German side.

I'm having trouble properly driving the ICE 1 in this extension using the RailDriver with the RailDriver software from CobraOne. I'm aware it's the same ICE as that from vR but I've never tried to use that with the RailDriver.

How have you set it up, Holzroller?

As the girlfriend was here I only got a quick run through with the keyboard until today. I can't it to work at all. I can see that the LUA file has been replaced by an out file compared to the original, but I have no idea if that is the problem. Away to have a play with the other loks and see what happens.
It uses simple throttle and simple brake, I had to edit the lever map and enable Throttle and Train Brake. Throttle is mapped to Hotas X, brake to Raildriver. Initially I had a problem with my anti-virus it seems, adding raidlriver software as an exception solved the issue.

In Real Life the DB trains continue to and terminate at the main station Basel SBB - unless they work thru to other parts of Switzerland.
The SNCF run in to Basel SNCF which is a side part of the main SBB station
And of course the SBB trains also use the main station with a few working to Basel Bad Bf

I did edit the lever map to enable the simple throttle and brake, but even then, it didn't really seem well playable. Something still seems wrong. It especially messes up when I try to enable / disable AFB, using shift-A.

The BR111 that's included works like "normal", and works well with the RD. I didn't yet try the BR189.

I don't use AFB as a rule, and haven't tried it, but otherwise the ICE responds well to my set up. I have to run the software as an administrator, with an exception for my anti virus, otherwise I have communication issues with TS, Also a shot in the dark, you have copied over the latest GetData LUA from the Raildriver to TS?

No I haven't copied the GetData LUA in a while, forgot about this step actually...

I often do use the AFB and it seems that it is the thing that most messes up the train in combination with RailDriver which leads me to think that actually, this train is scripted and there should be some scripted Virtual Control that the RD should be using instead of the simple direct controls. But I wouldn't know the Virtual Control names.

If you want to be able to run the scenarios appearing on Railsim.de yes you do. The patch reduces some of the texture sizes, it seems that past lessons were not learnt, otherwise you will probably get a dump at Weil.

Set the AFB then use SHIFT A to engage the system - like others you can change it with the Y to increase and C to decrease the speed setting.

I don't have this route but if it's the standard ICE 1 from vR then the English Manual is here
