As this is an extensive rework and remodel of the set, and being brought to the Pro Range library, we felt it was more appropriate not to disturb the existing set (as there are numerous scenarios on Workshop and lots of people that still love the original pack). So what this means is that this will release as a separate pack and we're keen to add a reasonable discount for all of you that currently own the existing pack.
Peter
That's jolly decent of them. :)

FYI - anyone missing the VT logos from their AP scenario packs and 390 stock can still obtain these from the DPS website. just download the original reskin by Horgy and overwrite when prompted

In the latest in-development screenshot, they fixed the window frames so they don't stick out like they did before.

Why do you consider this route as not being lifelike, then? It's by Thomsons and Keith Ross, doyens of route building, you buy a route for the actual representation of the route, not, for what trains you can drive on it, surely, or, don't you work like that??

Cheerz. Steve.

"Right around the corner" they say. I predict its coming this week.

Pretty excited for this. I hope to see workshop scenarios featuring this alongside the APT-P and the Super Voyager. Might take a stab at making one myself.

I think that the U coach in the new pack is wrong, shouldn't be like that one in the picture below?

Yes, in the new pack it's like a normal trailer without the pantograph well :-?

Anyone going to give it a review for prospective purchasers or will there be 10 pages focusing on what's wrong, like usual?

PRO's

-Added DSD/DVD (sounds way to loud when using headphone however)
-Upgraded cab textures
-Added simulation of neutral sections
-quick drive support
-two tone horn with 'space' and 'b' keys
-misc extra functionality included (cab lights, two speed wipers, climate control with fan sounds)
-extra 11car version included
-TASS with limited functionality
-Instrument lights (way too bright when turned on however, bright enough to make the digits on the dial unreadable)
-Physics are brilliant
-Player can manually change the train destination

CON's

-Pantograph coach is mapped incorrectly
-The sounds are just really bad, yes they are updated but still of Rail Simulator quality
-The external run sounds are missing (or just way to quiet for 125mph running)
-Cab occlusion sounds are bad (I was running at 125mph and could hear church bells from 2 miles away as if I was right next to them)
-No way (as far as I can tell) to change the name plate on the side of the train.
-POV camera does not tilt with the train when the vehicle rounds a bend - only the cabin tilts (if APT add-on has it why does this newer release not? Step backwards....)
-Windows are completely black from outside, not a heavy tint, just completely black
-Only the classic Pendolino livery is included, none of the newer versions - Repainters to the rescue!
-cant get the 'driver' to sit in the correct can when travelling forwards

It should change when you put the carriage number in :) (each carriage number has a nameplate on the carriage that has them at least :))

Is there a list of carriage numbers somewhere, the manual was no help and you cannot add a letter to the end of the vehicle with the plaque...

The best I can offer is - (for coach G) 696xx (the xx is the number of the unit 01-57) - names are on the wiki page, not that much help I know.
