The scenery looks OK, better near Cologne. The airport is indeed quite nicely done.

However I did notice that the track quality is problematic in places and I did not always see speed reductions coming - or they did not always start at the location where I expected them.

Overall feels a bit rushed and below the standards I've come to expect from DTG.

I would not recommend this route, at least not in it's current state. I'm also disappointed that it's a separate route entry in TS, instead of an actual extension of the original route.

A video review? Hm, sorry, not used to recording what I play. I don't have any tools for that beyond what's built into Windows and I don't have a lot of free diskspace to spare for recordings... I'm sure though that there will be someone who'll upload something to YouTube soon enough.. :)

Think I'll hang off on it then until it's fixed or reduced in a sale, cheers Tim.

I've started documenting the errors I have ran into on the first scenario but there are so many unexplained speed changes etc, and very bumpy track in various places too - it will be a few evenings I think, before I've covered the first scenario.

And then there's other scenarios to go... At the very least for the way back.

I hope that when I send in that list to them they will actually be fixing the issues. :-/

18 issues on the way from Köln Hansaring to Troisdorf (scenario 01) and 14 issues on the way from Troisdorf to Köln Hansaring (scenario 02).... And in reporting on scenario 01 I included a number of texturing issues around stations mostly that I skipped for the return trip since they'd be duplicates... So overall that's about the same number of issues both coming and going. And since all that was on different track the issues are definitely different issues even if some are at the same place along the line.

Some of the issues are benign, such as unexpected increase in speed. Some of the issues not.... as there are as many unexpected speed reductions! And a number of issues with jumpy-bumpy track.

All reported to DTG.

Not yet made an effort to find / report issues on the freight yard route... Although I have a strong feeling that there will be some on those lines too from the scenario to there that I did.

Cheers,

I guess that too many of their resources are working on TSW at the moment...
