Bacup rescue.

I'm trying to help resurrect the Bacup route. I've made a few modifications to the track such as replacing non functioning points, and adding platform markers to get the route working in scenarios. Unfortunately the chap building the route has extended the scenery quite a lot since I modified the track. The easiest thing to do would be for me to send him my updated track and marker files, rather than him sending me the updated scenery files, and me having to repackage the route and send it back to him. Can anyone inform me which files are relevant. Is it just the track files in the Network folder or are there more?

The files in that folder you mentioned along with the Tracks.bin.

Thanks. The tracks.bin is already in the Networks folder. So it's just the Networks folder I need to pack then?

Ah, I get you now. If it's for trackwork only, then it would be the Tracks.bin and Track Tiles folder. As the chap has done scenery, he will no doubt be using the loft and road files in the networks folder.

I stumbled upon the Facebook page for the route a few weeks ago, I remember it being such a shame the creator had decided to stop building the route after they had put so much effort into it. I hope your able to bring it bac to life successfully!

This is very good news. So many people put so much time into this route and stock reskins it was a tragedy that it never reached any kind of public release, no matter the state of it.

A while back, I downloaded some assets under the Developer/product "Developer/ELR_PDH". I wish to know who "Developer" is, as I would like to request permission to bundle some of the assets with the various steam age routes I am developing. I have heard that he is possibly a Peter D. Holton, so has anyone any contact details for him? The assets do not seem to be on UKTS any more.

regards

Nick

Great to see you working on this Gordon. It was a shame that work stopped. The route had lots of promise.

An update on Bacup. After a few false starts, John the route author has finally handed the route over to be finished by someone else. Namely Nick (Brysonman46) who has stepped into the breach. At last finally light at the end of the Bacup tunnel.....Hang on there ain't one :) . This route is an absolute joy to run, and after many years, soon everyone can.
