I have now removed it from the pack (and the scenario it was in). We eagerly await its release (and any other suitable rolling stock for the route)

With the release of Bacup-The Facit Branch finally drawing close after all these years, I've been looking at the available stock. Due to some good fortune we have all the Private Owner reskins originally done for the route. Loco's for the L&Y era, AFAIK there is just the Aspinall Radial supplied with the route, though in plenty of liveries, and the Meshtools Class 27 in the future. As for carriages there are the L&Y 6 wheelers supplied with the route in L&Y and LMS liveries. The only LMS NC's I know of are the old Rail-Sim P2's which have lasted well, and the forthcoming Meshtools P3 NC's. So after the Caledonian Grampians are off my hands I'll be doing a set of Period 1 Full Panelled Standard 57ft NC Lavatories, plus some of the P1 Standard 57 footers with no bog. :)

Hi Gordon,
Without all your hard work making new coaches, for different era's from grouping through to BR steam era,we would be up the creek without a paddle, stuck with non prototypical BR Mk1's,it wasn't really until the Maroon era that Mk1's started to be used on ordinary passenger trains.

In the Blood and Custard era the Mk1's were only used on Named Trains and crack express trains,as there wern't enough built to go round all the regions.

It's just a shame more scenario writers route builders and locomotive makers don't make more use of your coaches, after all they aren't that expensive, when you buy them from market place.

I for one appreciate your hard work, what would make my day would be a set of Greseley Short Corridor Coaches as used on the Great Eastern, and a set of Maunsell
Push Pull coaches,as used on the Swanage Branch and various Devon Branch Lines

Hi Mike. Patience shall be rewarded in time regarding Gresley's and maybe Push Pull's too.

Yes I laugh at the un-prototypical screenshots of secondry and branchlines full of Mk1's, and no period stock on the mains.

Scenario writers spend hours pouring over timetables and selecting the right loco, and then bung Mk1's on everything. Thank goodness I can swap 'em. Some great scenarios out there, but very few true to life regarding consists.

When I used to visit my grandparents at Bournemouth in the 1950/60's the only trains that had Mk1's was The Royal Wessex and The Channel Island Boat Train, when it used to run from Waterloo.

The ordinary fast Waterloo Southampton Bournemouth Weymouth trains were Bullied Sets and 10-12 coaches, when it got to Bournemouth Central, the Loco and first 6 were uncoupled and went forward to Bournemouth West, the rear 4-6 went on to Weymouth,if it was a 6 coach train 2 coaches were usualy removed at Wareham, and coupled to the Swanage Branch Train.

The Semi Fast and Slow Trains were usually Maunsell Stock Coaches, and also the Summer Relief trains,it was much the same on the West of England trains,The Atlantic Coast Express Mk1's other trains Bulleid and Maunsell Coaches.

In Summer it was only the Main Atlantic Coast Express had Mk1's the reliefs either Bulleid or Maunsells

Easily Confused, I think gopher has found the problem that held up the upload - there is a zero-byte file in the subfolder Developer/ELR_PDH/RailVehicles/Steam/L_Y_Radial/LMS/Engine/Example_Steam_EngineScript.lua. It must have resided in there for many years! It doesn't affect the running of the Route, but it was obviously picked up by the "uploading" system. One can delete it one wishes

There seems to be an issue with the very first sceanrio, when loading i get a "Cant Load" messgae for LMS P1 coaches even though i have them installed.I tried swapping them out for different carriages but somehow i still get the same message when there are NO LMSP1 coaches in the scenario as i swapped them out.I will try a reinstall and see.

I ran that one a couple of hours back with no problems. Make sure you have the marketplace LMS P1&P2 Early Coach pack installed. Great scenario, I'll go back to it once I've finished the others. Amazing a route of this quality is free.

Just tried this scenario myself and had no problems. You should get a missing stock report in RWTools unless you have unpacked the AP's. As ceebeeuk suggest try re-downloading them on Steam.
