Hopefully, it will be finished in the not too distant future (in between all my other projects). There will be a few scenarios, and Quick Drives.

Will try to keep everyone up to date

Something we do not have is all the reskinned freeware wagons for Bacup. If anyone has any info on who did them, or if they are still available. Any info gratefully received.

Afraid not. Anything from Lancashire or West Yorkshire would do. The old screenshots of Bacup show many reskins from Bury, Ramsbottom, Rochdale areas etc.

Unfortunately, none of the ones from the usual crew were the ones needed. These were done by John Bennett, but were not in the files sent to Gordon

I have had three people contact me suggesting Brian Yeomans (briyeo1950) may have done the reskins . I'll PM him.

We have come up trumps regarding the P.O. wagon reskins for Bacup-The Facit Branch. T'was indeed Brian and Pete so we have the full set. Thanks chaps.

The route is coming along in leaps and bounds. One outstanding issue is an L&Y Aspinall Class 27 which crashes on selection in the sim. You can add it in the scenario editor and give it a driver icon, but once you start the sim and select it, it crashes. One obvious thing, there was no footplate crew. I have added these but it made no difference. Is the author Michael Whiteley still active? We could do with getting this fixed. I'm very rusty with loco blueprints so could do with a volunteer to have a look at it if Mr Whiteley can't be found.

Hi, Might be worth having a look at the one in the freeware pack - I think it's the steam one

Sorry Mark. The only one in there is the Aspinall 2-4-2 tank by another author, we already have it in the Bacup assets.

The L&Y Class 27 should NOT be in the pack, we have NOT given permission for it to be redistributed. This was given to John solely for his personal use.

Michael Whiteley's L&Y 27 might still be on Meshtools' to-do list, see their Facebook page, December 2017:

Appologies Edward. John's memory has been affected due to a medical condition, and can't remember anything about who supplied the stock for Bacup. Rest assured, the Class 27 will go no further.

No problem Gordon  I do hope to get back to the Class 27 at some point in the near future once the Stanier Tank is out of the way :)
