Hey does anyone know if Dovetail has any plans to bring out the west and east coastways route for ts2018 as the Waggonz Class 313 Southern Variant feels a bit useless without

to any of you who don't know what route i'm on about, i'm on about the routes out of Brighton to the west so the route to Worthing an Littlehampton and to the east going to Lewes, Seaford, Eastbourne etc.

If they don't have any plans, does anyone know how i can get in touch or put forward a route suggestion as the BML has been crying out for those routes to be added

thanks

Nothing from DTG, however there is a WIP route from Train Sim Designs that includes the West Coastway.

Does anyone know the latest news regarding the TS Designs route? I live on this route, and I would love to see it in TS. The only criticism I had of the screenshots is that Barnham doesn't look quite right, especially the platform buildings. Not really a criticism, just me being picky given I've used the station daily (Only to change trains though...) for some years now! You notice any small detail that's even the tiniest bit inaccurate!

Hey guys I recently downloaded the train sim designs route with it on but nothing's been done for nearly 18 months

It's just track and platform, I was hoping for something more professional

From their homepage;

Train Sim Designs

Website : http://www.trainsimdesigns.co.uk
Facebook : trainsimdesigns

Contact Method : Facebook Chat

Why don't you contact them direct through Facebook then you can tell us 8) - seems easier and quicker than asking other people that won't know...you can also point out to them that Barnham doesn't look quite right. I am sure they will appreciate your input and will be happy to discuss the required alterations.

I choose to not use Facebook, but I may drop them an email instead. I will note a few things, but some things I appreciate will be awkward to do without many custom assets, and it doesn't bother me all that much, and certainly wouldn't stop me downlaoading the (finished) route!

It can be a Catch 22 creating a Freeware Route.

On some routes the accuracy is very good but you find a lot of Payware Routes are required to give the correct feel
The Harrogate Loop uses the York Station and other items from Creative Rail's East Coast Modern

Other route use less payware but the accuracy is not the same level - and if the actual assets, like those used at Barnham station, are not available then there will be some compromise

Best thing is to download it and have a look in the editor, or using RWInfo - link below.

If you use the editor you can also fly around and see what is completed and what awaits working up to final stages. A lot of track and a lot to do, but will be good when finished.

I did contact them via Facebook about a month ago they told me that they were doing some repathing and fixing signals but bascally said its not a dead project that there should be an update to come soon about it

Good news I am particularly interested in the Western End of the route from Cosham to Eastleigh and Southampton

I did have a stab at extending the Brighton route to Eastbourne. Got all the track laid and DEM'd terrain with scenery as far as Lewes but then it fell by the wayside when I moved onto other TS route projects
