Atomic Systems

A couple of ones that wouldn't require too much messing around in regards to modelling would be a large boiler 7F and a CEP. The large boiler 7F would be at home on the S&D, and the CEP at home on most of the southern routes we've got and are getting, I recall them being a staple of the Medway Valley Line back in the 1980s.

The CEP is definitely going to be on the Multiple Unit poll... I forgot to put a large boiler 7F in the steam poll!

I would personally like to see the first main line diesels, LMS/BR 10000/10001 "Twins"

They were the forerunner and test engines, to the green diesel electrics, and I think deserve to be modelled and remembered.

I'm suprised there haven't been more suggestions for the Diesel & Electric poll?! If there aren't any more later on I may go ahead and publish it. I think I've gone into rather too many niches as it is, so unless there's any specific requests, suggestions or corrections I will probably put it up later.

Reading through the list, I can tell you that these already exist or are in the pipeline:

- BR Ex-GWR steam era TPO's fully interactive come with Victory works Saint class, BR variants with the marketplace reskins
- There's already a Std 2MT and 4MT Mogul, so don't think there's a market for the 3MT.
- There is a WD in the UKTS library, but agreed a new model with accurate sounds and physics would be very nice.
- LNER P2 is in the works by Digital Traction check their FB page for renders.
- Hawksworth County has been confirmed by Victory works which will be his next product after he has finished the current WIP. LNER Raven Q6
- Urie/Maunsell U class is already available https://steamlococollection.co.uk/sr-ma ... -0-add-on/
- 9F has already been done by DTG, and SSS have produced a soundpack, and are in works of releasing an enhancement pack, with preserved examples with nameplates etc and BR.
- SSS are also publishing a Hunslet Fitzwilliam industrial pack in near future.
Personally, I think some have too minor differences from current available locos to justify a full pack as it were.

Also,
Someone mentioned new class 37 and 47 packs. Master key simulations are commencing work on the 47 pack again, and is now their main project. Also, a 37 pack is in the works by railright who brought us the Class 40, these also had some help from Masterkey.

I'll answer each of your points in order, so I don't confuse myself or others!
GWR TPO: I don't think I included one in this poll? I did include designs from other companies though. I will be looking more at coaches when I write the poll for coaches, the poll here being primarily to see if there was interest in a poll and to reveal any initial shortcomings.

Std 3MT: The 2MT is rather different to the 3MT! And there is not currently a Std 4MT Mogul on the market, although there were a few in the past. There seems to have been a few people asking for 3MT's over time, so I thought I'd include it in the revised poll. Being a pre-grouping fan I do get your point!

WD 2-8-0 & 2-10-0: I do have both the freeware ones, and they are perfectly good for the moment, but as you say a new model would be good.

LNER P2: I think I left in the A4-Style Streamlined P2, which I don't think is being covered by DT. Either way, I think I left it out of the new poll entirely.

Hawksworth County: I forgot VW were doing that, but then checked and omitted it from the new poll.

U Class: I know the U is available, both as freeware and as payware. I need to get the payware one at some stage... I think I put the U1 in though, which has some differences to the U. Unfortunately I can't remember what they are right now, but I'm sure somebody will know on here!

BR 9F: I didn't realise I put that on the list, and I certainly didn't in the new poll. I don't think I even put the Franco Crosti ones on there! My apologies if that was included in either poll. Unfortunately I can't change it now if it is.

Hunslet Fitzwilliam: I am going to pre-order that pack soon, but there's always room for more industrials!

Large Boiler 7F: I believe the earlier poster was referring to the Large Boiler SDJR 7F 2-8-0, rather than the later LMS 'Austin Seven' 0-8-0 which DT offer. I am a big fan of DT products, my current favourite TS loco being the 4300 (And I'm a Southern Fan!): Great fun on the Malmesbury Branch with a few wagons and MT Toplights lying around to play with. I think I put the later Collett version of the 4300 in the poll, rather than the original. Either way, neither feature in the new poll. I think...

If any of your list is included in the new poll, then I apologise, but I don't think they are. Once the other polls are up I will probably ask that this poll (and topic) is locked to prevent any further confusion. I suggest that voting in the poll here should stop, and that people should vote in the specific polls as they go up. The new polls have had a lot more thought put into them than this one, so should be better!

Point still stands as some you ask for I feel are too similar to those already available, TPO is a TPO afterall And again, 7F has been done in many iterations both the 080 which I thought was the Large boiler but also the 280 variant which was famous on S&D routes.
I could see reasons for a 3MT 262T pack once 82045 is in steam in the future, maybe in UE4 engine, whether that be TSW or "The Railway"

Well, good job I knocked it out of the new poll! The only reason the different polls were there is because the list was basically copied directly from the RMweb modellers poll, and regional differences between TPO's seem to matter more to railway modellers. I'd be happy for a Southern reskin myself!

I didn't request the 7F, and I didn't include in either poll... someone else wants it though!

Steam in TSW is a long way off, and I'm afraid the other sim you mention is unlikely to be discussed on UKTS due to it being created by a certain individual whom I shall not name!

Once I have all the polls up I will ask for this thread to be locked. I may see if I can get the poll itself locked without locking the entire topic though.

Indeed, that's what I thought you meant! I forgot about the LMS 'Austin Seven'... then Kirkheath posted the DT link and reminded me! I think they had all (certainly most?) ended up with small boilers by 1948, which means it would be unlikely to appeal to many as the S&D Route is ostensibly 1950's. On a personal note, I'd probably get it as it's pre-grouping (!) but that's just me.

As you may have noticed I have now asked for the poll here to be removed, as I am now getting the revised polls uploaded, and the poll here was confusing people, and was wrong on quite a few levels!

I have also asked for this topic to be renamed from "Wishlist Poll?" to "Wishlist Poll Discussion" in order to avoid confusion that may be arising as a resut of the title.
